Everything was good. It met most of my needs.

I wasn't expecting much from the airport La Quinta. Despite the location, the hotel was modern and clean. The rooms were much nicer than I would have expected from a budget hotel. I would definitely go back if I were in Memphis again.

When i Check in the room was clean, but had a strong cigarette smell in a no-smoking room. I ask to change room , because was noise , a major road was by the window. I got a new room better but with the most horrible view, was a plant ,and trucks in the morning was making all of that noise of backing up and going forward. Thank God I had to wake up 6am , but if you are planning to sleep more , please check the rooms in person first and then decide.

Over-all it was an okay stay. Staff was friendly, location was easy to find... with help of GPS, but the only thing that I didn't like about my stay was that the non-smoking room smelled like smoke. I didn't complain about it until I was checking out because my family was very tired from a long day's travel. I did mention it at check-out and it wasn't given a secon thought nor a "sorry about that" or a "we'll get that straightened" response. I'm sure it has to be a once in a while thing for any place to have that problem, but it was a place to rest, and we got what we paid for... average.

We went to Memphis to attend the Liberty Bowl. The LaQuinta is a very nice motel. The parking lot is surrounded by a fence which has an access gate. Had a good breakfast. Was not close to any restuarant. But it was convientantly located right at a the Interstate interchange.

My stay was not very pleasant. The room was ok but the plumbing needed to be fixed during our stay (there was no hot water in the sink and when I turned the water on it made a horrible noise), the room key wouldn't work, and my car was broken into. Upon learning of the break-in the staff at the front desk told me that it happens, and that it probably happened right after 6 am when their security guard leaves. The police let us know that they had been out to this hotel for a car break -in within the past 6 months. The staff immediately swept up the broken glass in the parking lot but did not offer to let us use their broom to sweep off the seats of my car so that I could drive it to the nearest place to vacuum out the glass. The police had to ask for towels to cover the seats so that we could drive. I definitely do not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here during my next visit to Memphis.

A good standard hotel which is ideal for short stays. Although named as an airport hotel it is about 2/3 miles from the terminal and you need a rental car or utilise the free airport shuttle to get there. Good quality continental breakfast included in price, no restaurant or bar and no eating establishments closeby. Would stay there again.

The complementary coffee packet in the room was empty, and there was no refridgerator in the room as listed. We stayed only one night so did not ask to be accommedated.
