Homestead Memphis - Poplar Avenue

The hotel room was clean, but missing towels. You will have to pick towels up at the front desk.

I was disappointed in this hotel. First off, it is called Extended Stay America, not Homestead, which made it difficult to find. Upon entering, the lobby was not very clean and the first impression was that of a lower class motel. Everything was dated, and the carpet was very dirty. There was a very strange odor throughout the hotel, including in my room. The bed was older and well used and the blanket and comforter were very cheap. The room did have a stove and microwave and full refrigerator which are handy, but I would rather have a hotel with a restaurant. I will not stay in an Extended Stay America hotel again.

Hotels can be average, but the staff is what makes the stay. Everyone on staff was nice and helpful when I needed anything. They even switched my room to accommodate me better in my situation. that was big. thanks for the great deal.

This was the worst experience we have ever. We got to the hotel early they said we had to wait until 3pm so we left came back after 3pm all of a sudden they say they don't have our room available all they have is smoking when we had specifically asked for non smoking. We payed for a room with double beds they didn't have one they gave us a room with 1 bed and a sofa bed. We were tired so we just took that, we get to the room and it hadn't been cleaned. My husband went to see the manager finally we got a room with dirty towels. Staff seems lazy, halls smell, front desk personnel are rude. The girl at front desk after she gave us the room she said we would have to call to get sheets for sofa bed I asked if she could just give them to us now she said no you have to call. We were suppose to stay 3 nights, no one ever cleaned our robo the next day bed unmade no clean towels, luckily I packed some for us. Terrible, terrible terrible hotel. I didn't read all the reviews but believe me when I say don't stay here you probably better off paying a few dollars more than staying here.

Good location, friendly staff, breakfast is acceptable, will return again.

Located very conveniently with friendly staff and cleaan, comfortable rooml I would prefer a breakfast facility, but hotel is geared to long-term use with handy kitchenet.

It was a good value for the price, beds hurt my my back but overall not bad.

Had a very good experience, safe location, lots of restaurants in area. Staff was not the friendliest, but was not impolite either. Bath tub took forever to drain, but all in all was a good stay. Comfortable bed, full sized fridge and range top built in. Good cold air which was great with 90+ heat outside! Be sure and bring extra pillows there.

Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms, at a very good price.

Good location, good value, nice, clean rooms; no problems of any sort.
