Comfortable - Convenient

It was very nice. Clean, clean, clean - which is a must for us. We really enjoyed our stay. We chose this location because we were in walking distance of the FedEx Forum this time. Next time we will choose it because of the hospitality of your employees. Everyone treated us so nice. Thanks for making our stay very enjoyable.

Hotel Employees Were Wonderful!

The employees were very welcoming! Location was perfect- parked the car and walked around the city. Very close to Beale Street and good eateries. Hotel room was very nice but the bathroom was needy! The outer shower curtain and tub tile grout had mildew and the switch plate was dirty and cracked. Elevator to parking garage was not working. Enjoyed our tour of Graceland. The trolley ride in the city and by the Mississippi was very nice.

Not so good

For the price, the hotel did not offer any amemities. Although convenient to Beale Street, the hotel and street noise did not make up for convenience of it. The elevators were slow and annoying. Stayed on a non-smoking floor, but smelled cigarette smoke every evening.

Location! Location! & Service!!

Hotel is perfectly located for those who like to park the car and see the town on foot. We were within walking distance of Beale Street and Mud Island/Mississippi River.....conveniently located off of 240 to get to airport / zoo, etc. Hotel staff always happy to answer our questions, provide directions and recommendations --- elevators are slow and have a mind of their own (maybe haunted?), pool was small but clean and warm, overall we would definitely stay there again.

Civil Rights Museum is a must, located in the Lorraine Motel where King was assassinated. Rock and Soul is also a must. It is a Smithsonian branch. Both were well displayed and easy to get to from this hotel. Beale Street was great every night.

Can't beat the location!

Great location! Very short walk to Beale St. Smallest/tightest parking garage I've ever been in but once you get parked you don't need to drive anywhere. Rooms are small and there is a lot of street noise but they provide ear plugs.

There are no guarantees at this hotel!!!

I reserved a specific type of room b/c of special needs. When checked in I was informed reservations ONLY guarantee a room. There are no guarantees as to the type of room or will they guarantee to satify and special needs you may have. So my advice is if you have special needs stay across the street at one of the other many hotels to choose from. They are all about the same price so that shouldn't be an issue. Prior to making my reservation I inquired about the parking,I was informed parking on site for $12 a day or I can choose to park off site for less. I choose on site, well the garage was full so I was forced to park 3 blocks away and take a shuttle back to the hotel. Downtown has many one way streets and w/ traffic it took close to 15 min to park the car and take the shuttle back. It was very loud and i could hear everything that was going on in the hallway and rooms next to me. I could go on and on. . . On a positive note, the room was VERY clean and it did not have any odor. However, I will not be staying at this hotel again!!
