Family Getaway
The staff was nice and helpful. TV was not working when we got to the room. The front desk got the problem solved pretty quick. Overall not too bad.I would recommend this hotel if you are planning a short stay.The rooms would fit someone on a businesses trip better.Not enough room for a family unless you book multiple rooms

Father of traveling teens
Family visit to Memphis
We are a family of 4 ( 2 kids), and our experience with this hotel has been a very positive one. Staff was very friendly and professional, we were minutes from downtown Memphis.

Not that special
The room did not seem clean upon check-in. The walls are thin and we heard a lot of other guests. The complimentary hot breakfast was a great plus.

Travel for work I will
Stayed here once and will NEVER be back
I chose this loation as it was close to the hospital that I had to visit for work. The front desk staff was very nice and that ends the lists of goods for this review. The room was gross. I actually took the time to wash the sink, shower, nightstand, and even the light fixtures in the bathtoom because they were so dirty. I did not feel safe in the hotel as it is in a very bad part of the city. I would not advise women to stay at this hotel alone. There was a lot of for lack of better word "activity" at night around the hotel that made me feel very uneasy. Overall the safety and cleanliness of this hotel are the worst that I have seen in a long time and I travel all over the US for work and have stayed in a lot of different areas.

Continental Breakfast
I really enjoyed the staff and the continental breakfast. Now that was a breakfast. The food was great and those cinnamon buns were to die for. I enjoyed the fact that the food did not run out, was not burned or dry like some places I have been before. The staff was very knowledgeable about the location and where to find things I needed. Keep up the great work!!!

Asheville Boarding School
Excellent For My Needs
Our son is a student at Rhodes College and lives close to campus. This hotel is ideally located for this purpose AND is less than one minute off the I-240 coming in from the airport. Additionally, Union Ave has everything and what Union doesn't have, Poplar Ave has. Hotel is clean and comfortable

Perfect Location
This hotel was in a perfect spot for visiting all of the main attractions of Memphis. Very convenient access to the Memphis Zoo, Beale Street and the National Civil Rights Museum. The only negatives were that the pool was not as enjoyable as we had hoped as the water was cloudy. Just standing on the third step in the shallow end you could not see your feet! On the third day of our stay they deprogrammed our room key which left us locked out of not just our room but the building as a whole. This was a nuisance. The breakfast each morning was delicious and very convenient! I would stay at this location again when visiting Memphis in the future!

Could be better
Checked in and was told the room I reserved was not available. I was offered the next closest (down grade). Bed not very comfortable - needs new mattresses. Otherwise clean and neat.
