Ideal for a getaway
Good room size with luxurious king sized bed. We hit a Wed the hotel had a free BBQ & Beer for Happy Hour, that was a lovely gesture. Hotel maybe a distance away like 20 miles to downtown however, it's situated in a good spot where food is walking distance away and there's some shopping around as well. Visiting Graceland is some 40 mins drive away. Not too difficult if you have a car which you do anyhow. I would say hotel is an ideal choice and its price matches it.

Hotel Stay
This hotel had the sense that it was an older hotel trying to refurbish itself. The staff was very nice and accommodating. In our room everything was clean, the ac worked well, the bed was super comfy. However, the closet seemed older and needs a little tlc. In the bathroom the shower seemed older and during taking a shower water would go all over the bathroom because the guard wasn't very high, also the top shower head holder was broken. If you are short like me its not a problem, but the hubby had to stoop to take a shower. Trying to get into the hotel if you are not familiar with Poplar Road in Memphis is tricky, but once you get the hang of it it wasn't that bad. I thought they had a free continental breakfast but I was informed when we checked in that breakfast was 9.95. There is a really great restaurant called Blue Plate Cafe about a half a mile north of the hotel that was great!! We never ate at the hotel so I don't know how the food was. Overall it was a decent stay, with the little quarks I probably wouldn't stay there again. However, because the staff was quite friendly I just might.

Great location BUT
This was the perfect location right off the highway and across the street from Target and a few other good restaurants. Everything we wanted to go see was about 15 minutes away HOWEVER my boyfriends car was broken into and items were stolen from our car. I would recommend the hotel but would stress to bring ANYTHING important into the hotel with you and try to park in front.

You can forget about Breakfast
On my last morning at the hotel- I went to get breakfast, only to learn that there was a charge for it , $22 for a omlet and some potatoes and sausage...ok, but the potato's were old and the sausage was disguisting. I went back to the room to grab my jacket and purse and tried to return but was told that I had to pay again if I was to re-enter. There was no sign that said this- and when I questioned the lady she proceeded to get rude and disrespectful. That was my FIRST and LAST time visiting this hotel. I will save my money for some place where the staff knows how to treat paying customers.

Nice Safe Stay
I stayed at this hotel because I was going to an event at my church in Memphis. I live about an hour away. My room was ready and quiet. The elevator was a little old. There's restaurants nearby and one right next to the hotel. What I really loved was the security guards on the premises. The gym was decent and well kept. I would stay again. It was in a safe area of Memphis. I believe its in Germantown.

Pretty good
It was a nice mini vacation for me. The thing that was really bad was the entrance of the hotel. Its off of a major street and the turn is Terrible. But otherwise it was a pretty decent stay. i would recomment this hotel to others.

Business Trip - stay was quiet and uneventful until the day I was to leave. I requested a 715 wake up call which didn't happen. Woke up at 805 in a panic and barely caught my 920 flight. . . plenty of parking, very close to freeways and airport is 7 mi away, pleasant rooms, have a $10 hot breakfast altho I didn't partake. very competitive at $79 and worth staying - other than the wake up call issue which was quite upsetting.

Dining tip:
In Hotel
There is no room service; just a snack bar for purchase in the lobby and $10 breakfast buffet. There are many restaurants close by but the hotel is situated between two very busy streets, so be prepared to drive.
