Most Elvis fans never got this close to the King. The Day's Inn, located just across the street from Graceland, defines convenience. Guests can browse the inn's extensive collection of Elvis pictures and records, or tour the mansion owned by Elvis and his wife, Priscilla. Attractions at Graceland include the singer's car and clothing collection and his private jet named after his daughter, Lisa Marie.
The complimentary Daybreak Breakfast, to be enjoyed while being serenaded by Elvis, includes Belgian waffles, muffins, cereals, fresh fruit, gourmet coffees, and imported teas. For lunch and dinner the area offers a number of restaurants to suit every taste, such as Jack Pirtle's Fried Chicken, seafood at Shoney's 2302 or Captain D's, Rally's Hamburgers, steaks at Marlowes, and Tops Bar-B-Q.
First-rate attractions within a 10-mile radius of the inn include downtown Memphis, with the Pyramid Arena, FedEx Forum, and the Beale Street entertainment district -- home of Sun Studios, which first recorded Elvis.
After a long day of sightseeing guests appreciate the inn's custom outdoor pool made famous by MTV, Full House, and the Travel Channel.

Good location if you are going to Graceland, otherwise not so good
Perhaps, I'm spoiled, but I'm used to more quality. I didn't feel safe especially after persons who lived in Memphis were horrified that I was staying in this area. Also, I did not like Elvis music playing for most of the daytime in the pool area which could be heard in my room. I had to wear earplugs to be able to work on my computer. Also, I didn't feel comfortable in this neighborhood without internal hall way to room.
