Rooms

Each of the 60 rooms features Tuscan-inspired bedding and custom furniture, plus a 27-inch flat-screen television offering 85 channels, including Elvis Presley movies 24 hours a day (he made 33 films). Enjoy free high-speed Internet access, a microwave, refrigerator, in-room safe, and free local calling.

Features

Most Elvis fans never got this close to the King. The Day's Inn, located just across the street from Graceland, defines convenience. Guests can browse the inn's extensive collection of Elvis pictures and records, or tour the mansion owned by Elvis and his wife, Priscilla. Attractions at Graceland include the singer's car and clothing collection and his private jet named after his daughter, Lisa Marie.

The complimentary Daybreak Breakfast, to be enjoyed while being serenaded by Elvis, includes Belgian waffles, muffins, cereals, fresh fruit, gourmet coffees, and imported teas. For lunch and dinner the area offers a number of restaurants to suit every taste, such as Jack Pirtle's Fried Chicken, seafood at Shoney's 2302 or Captain D's, Rally's Hamburgers, steaks at Marlowes, and Tops Bar-B-Q.

First-rate attractions within a 10-mile radius of the inn include downtown Memphis, with the Pyramid Arena, FedEx Forum, and the Beale Street entertainment district -- home of Sun Studios, which first recorded Elvis.

After a long day of sightseeing guests appreciate the inn's custom outdoor pool made famous by MTV, Full House, and the Travel Channel.

Could be better

They could have some baked goods for continental breakfast. The staff had their children with them which is unprofessional. You ask staff to clean the room and they didn't. bugs in the room. Only reason I'll come back and recommend this to friends is because it's right across the street from graceland plaza and my family and I don't drive.

Location,location,location!!

The best part of this Days Inn is it's very close proximity to Graceland, the souvenir shops and ticket sales. Room and dining area decor "tacky and cool". Beds very comfortable and the guitar shaped swimming pool was pretty neat too. Easy to get here from Interstate. Wouldn't recommend walking any further than Graceland though, this area of Memphis very dirty, not friendly.

Check in at 3:00pm, walk to Graceland tour ticket booth and visit mansion same day. Saves you $10.00 in parking fees.

Good location but dated

Good location, short walk to Gracelands but allocated room dated and in need of update/repair. The door jam looked as if it might fall off. If visiting Gracelands I wanting to stay close by I would recommend hotel

Only one problem!

Everything was great except for our smoke detector--there were wires where it was supposed to be, but it wasn't there. When we called down to the front desk, the lady said she could give us another room, but it wouldn't have a king size bed, but two double beds. Everything else was fine. We loved the decorations. There were pictures of Elvis in our room and cardboard cutouts of him in the breakfast area. The breakfast was simple: cereal, milk, juice, tea, coffee, bagels, and waffles.

Location for Graceland

Perfectly located for Graceland, and all things Elvis. As it is quite literally on the other side of the road. So a 2 minute walk is all that is required. Hotel itself is good clean and fantastic value for money. We found the staff very approachable and attentive and would highly recommend anybody looking for the whole Elvis experience to stay at this hotel.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

Downtown Memphis is about 8 miles away so a short 20 dollar taxi ride is a necessity unless you have own car.
