Nice Hotel....no AC or rollaway beds

We had a last minute addition to our trip and, upon arrival, were told that the hotel has 0 rollaway beds or pull out sofas available for guests. This resulted in us having to get a second room. After dinner, we arrived back at our rooms to find no airconditioning. The front desk gave us a choice to move to different rooms where the AC might work. However, they would not even send someone to the available rooms to check. Finally just spent the night in two warm rooms priced over $150. Before 8 AM the following morning, there was significant noise outside the window from repair attempts.

Decent place, nothing fancy.

Nice room, decent location, but as the title says nothing fancy. I added the "plus breakfast" option but missed breakfast so I can't tell you how it was. I did have to explain the option and show her my confirmation email before I was given the voucher. I'd stay here again, but I'd prefer being a bit closer to Beale st, especially since you pay Beale st. Prices and are about a mile away.

Texas De Brazil is a great place to eat if you want something other than ribs. You can eat yourself sick there :). Make reservations, lets you walk in, there always seemed to be a line.

Great location for the price!

The hotel was great, Vallet picked up our car as soon as we pulled in and were very nice and professional. The hotel was on Main Street Memphis at a great price right where the action was. We had a great time!!

If you're in Downtown Memphis, you have to check out the Spaghetti Warehouse. This place was awesome, great food and very close to the river.

Great location, space, price!

We stayed at a similarly priced hotel just two blocks from Beale Street the weekend prior. It was extemely noisy, old and worn, with a tiny dated bathroom. By comparison, the Courtyard is new, clean, fabulousy decorated, spacious bathroom, located just few more blocks from Beale Street, and steps away from the trolley.

Clean, modern, great value

We walked around downtown Memphis both evenings we stayed at Courtyard, and loved the experience. Hotel is super-convenient, just far enough away from Beale Street to be quiet, but definitely within walking distance. Modern design, upscale furnishings, and bistro offerings were wonderful. If the bistro had been open later, we would have passed an evening there. We stayed in a King Balcony Suite - what a view! In-room TV was high-quality, but channels were really limited. Lovely shower, spacious bathroom. Smelled wonderfully clean overall. Will stay again. Great value!

Memphis in the meantime

Hotel was fine... clean, comfortable, affordable. Memphis leaves much to be desired. Anything off of Beale Street is just depressing. Memphis is as dead as Detroit, it just doesn't know it yet.

Good new hotel- 1.5 yrs

Nice weekend away to see a little of the music and history in the area. Clean, new hotel with great location. Area seemed safe. Trolley stops about a block from hotel. Most places are walkable if you're not in heels. Eg. Beale st is a little ambitious.

Enjoyable stay

Only stayed one night but it was quite pleasant -- the staff is friendly, the bistro served a nice breakfast (though i wish it were included in the price) and it was a short walk to lively bars/restaurants in downtown memphis
