good for the price
the room is not very big but it is clean. the furniture and equipment is kind of old. it would be better if there is microwave and refrigerator in the room. the environment is quite and safe. anyway, this hotel is good for its price

Check in staff needs to explain breakfast rules
Good and the rooms were nice. TV sucked! Staff was very nice and seemed like they wanted us to have nice stay. Went down to Beale Street on 1st night. Went to the Liberty Bowl next day. After the game came back to hotel freshened up and went to supper @ Top's BBQ. It was raining so we did not go to Beale Street again.

It was kind of old fasion but this in the room where up to date. Lot of younger people at location.

church getaway
Our stay was very good, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was good and clean, the only thing negative was that the tv wouldn't turn on in the morning, but I really didn't have time to watch it anyway. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful.

Never Again
I will never stay or recommend this hotel.When i reserved our room,it said pet friendly,$10.00 a night .When i went to check in,I was told it would cost me $100.00 a nite non-refundable for my dog.I told them i was not going to pay that since the web site had $10.00 per nite.I only paid the 10.Our first room had ants in the bathroom and spiders in the bed.I went down and told them,they gave us another room.This was a handicap room.No hot water,the shower was hand held.It had a hose that sprayed water over the curtain,flooded the bathroom.had to use all but one towel to soak up the water.I was very unhappy about my stay.The only good thing was a cracker barrel next door to the hotel.

Sunny lady
This was a Nightmare, worst hotel ever!
Worst hotel experience of our lives ever! Assigned a smoking room that smelled like a dirty ashtray. Shower was dirty. Had to kill a giant cockroach 2" long with my shoe on the second night. I freaked out, I've never seen 1. I complained and requested a refund, was told they could not give me one since I booked through a travel agency! Also pool was closed so no pool or no hot tub to use. Very poor management. Dirty carpets, etc.

Only good feature of entire stay was a very nice, clean, efficient well run Cracker Barrell Restaurant right next door.

Clarion Hotel Memphis
my over all rating would be about a 6.5 10 being the best. The first room, day one had ants, they were in the bed at night, we moved to another room the next day had the same issue, we noticed that an hour or so later and we relocated to another room with no problem. it seems that they are doing work on the place. The staff were really good, very nice and I would stay there agian next time in memphis,,,,,I would just check the room first. I have to add that the rooms, entire place was very clean, staff were constanlty cleaning, rooms were always made up each day and they were so accomadating and very polite
