BEST WESTERN PLUS Gen X Inn

Hotel was small and very comfortable. Was right on the trolley line and close to some interesting food and live music at the buccaneer lounge

We were very impressed with room and the cleanliness! Had the best biscuits for breakfast ever!! We will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to our friends!

if you're an out of town dental patient or medical patient this is perfect location. free breakfast and parking. Nothing glamourous but clean and spacious.

This is a Best Western, not the Four Seasons, but for a budget hotel, it was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms were clean and recently rehabbed, with great beds, nice flat screen TVs, and lots of space. Plus, the hotel is located on the streetcar line to downtown/Beale street, in a quiet area of town. (I wouldn't walk around here late at night, but I never felt unsafe). My friends and I expected a dive and found a very nice, mid-level hotel.

Hotel was clean, staff was very helpful. Breakfast in the morning was a small but, nice assortment with hot and cold items. Staff needs to check or refill the coffee in the caraffe with more frequency, mine was totally cold the first morning. Easy access to the trolley. We road it during the day and took taxis at night due to the general area.

Booked the hotel on-line for my daughter who was in Memphis for an interview for graduate studies. I called to confirm the reservation several days prior to her arrival and the reservations desk staff was very helpful with information about the city and suggestions for transportation to and from the airport. My daughter reported that the staff was very nice and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. Her only complaint was that the fruit selection was limited when she got down to the complementry breakfast.

It was clean, and the price was very affordable. I would come and stay here again

The hotel itself is good, nice staff, big and clean rooms, coffee maker, fridge, big TV, parking lots, all you need. it's not downtown though. If you don't have a car, it takes you a while to get to downtown, especially beale street. The taxi was about 10$ from there. The trolley station is close but they don't run all night.

The location of this hotel is great, but our room lacked a microwave. The room was very clean. The big issue we had was the noise-there was alot of activity on our floor, especially the last night. Alot of people slamming doors and screaming. Not a bad stay for the price, but overall, the price shouold be just a little lower for what you get.

This hotel was very clean. Checking in and out was a breeze. The hotel breakfast was about average as with other hotels. One plus, they had a waffle maker for a fresh waffle. As for location, it was centrally located within minutes of all the places we wanted to visit and easy to find; but it seemed to not be in such a great area of town. Thankfully we had no issues and everything went smoothly. I would recommend this hotel for the price and closeness to area attractions.
