Oceanfront resort hotel with amenities, including a new water park
Sea Crest Resort is situated on the oceanfront in the popular destination of Myrtle Beach. The hotel has recently been redeveloped, with all rooms undergoing refurbishment. The hotel features a new oceanfront water park and eight indoor and outdoor pools including whirlpools, a children's activity pool, and a baby pool. For refreshment, there is the Beach Java Café and the Malibu Bar & Oceanfront Snack Bar. Live entertainment is supplied daily at Malibu's, with karaoke most evenings. Sea Crest Resort also offers a mini-mart and exercise room.

- Our economy side rooms are enjoyed by our value conscious customers and consist of two double beds in one room with a microwave, small refrigerator, and windows overlook parking. Each unit includes a hairdryer, iron/ironing board, in-room coffee, in-room safe, and free in-room wireless internet. Approximate sq. ft. 335
- 2 queen beds - Efficiency Oceanfront
- Our oceanfront efficiencies consist of two queen beds in one room with an efficiency kitchen, microwave, full refrigerator, and private balcony overlooking the ocean. Oceanfront efficiencies are located in the Oceanfront Tower floors 2-15. Each unit includes a hairdryer, iron/ironing board, in-room coffee, in-room safe, and dataport internet access.
- Angle Oceanfront Suite
- Our angle oceanfront suites consist of two double beds in the bedroom, a separate living area with a double murphy bed OR a sleeper sofa, full service kitchen including a microwave and full refrigerator, one bath, 2 TVs, and a private balcony with a with a northeast view of the ocean. Angle oceanfront suites are located in the Angle Oceanfront Tower floors 5-15. Each unit includes a hairdryer, iron/ironing board, in-room coffee, in-room safe, and data port internet access.

Sea Crest Hotel Review
Hotel was perfect for my granddaughter and me with the indoor pool & spa and the outdoor heated pool since the weather in Myrtle Beach the first week of April '13 was unusually windy and cold. However , as a senior citizen with limited mobility, I found the vehicle parking situation less than ideal which might make me reconsider the choice of this hotel on my next M.B. visit.

Perfect location
We lucked out with great weather in January. It was in the 70s! Room had a wonderful ocean view. Only complaint was poor water pressure.

Warning, bed bug in the room
We stay in this hotel for the labor day weekend, and my husband get bited all over the body. At beginning, we thought it was something causing his skin allergy, then after back home, realized it was bed bug, have to throw away everything we take during the trip, and hopefully we dont bring it home.

great family resort with ideal location
They had karaoke 3 nights which was fun and the kids loved it. The dj was awesome and included the kids and it was clean. The pools could be a little warmer outside they were frigid. Rooms were average but who is going to be in the rooms all the time while at the beach. We plan on making this our yearly family vacation spot as the staff was great!!!

staff was great ,,keep room very clean... was there a week.. only thing next time I will ask for room higher up..had ocean front but was on second floor and pool was right under our roon.. my fault..

Family Vacation
Upon our early arrival at the hotel, the front desk staff was impersonable, almost cold towards us. We booked here due to reviews that it was within walking distance to the boardwalk, if you can call it that. It is really a concrete sidewalk. Also it is another 15 -20 minutes to the attractions of the boardwalk. The stove and cabinets in the room are very outdated to the point that I would not use the stove for fear of it not working or catching fire. The breakfast cafe is a Starbucks that is extremely pricey and a journey to get to. There is good pools for little kids but too small and shallow for teenagers and adults. Also the spa is always over run by little kids using it as a wadeing pool for it to be enjoyed for adult relaxation. Conclusion, good hotel for families with little ones, with teenagers or just adults, look to other hotels.

Great Location
the room we had was OK. kinda old but very clean and roomy. TV was 10 years old. The staff were great. the grounds and pools were excellent. the location was perfect. only negative is that there is no restaurant with-in 2 blocks. I would definitely return and would recommend to a friend.
