Great value at a good hotel
This hotel is a great value. It is in a good location, is very comfortable and clean, and has great amenities, especially the indoor and outdoor pools as well as direct beach access. We had a 1 bedroom (2 queen beds) suite with a full kitchen, and a balcony overlooking the ocean. It was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We will definitely go here again.

Excellent Family Vacation
We took a week with the whole family for our first trip to MB. We loved Island Vista. It has a nice lobby and friendly staff. We loved the room on 10th floor with a perfect view of the ocean. It was large and had plenty of room for us all to stretch out. It was nice that they have a space near the door to store pool/beach stuff. It was very helpful to have a beach stroller to tote it all down. My elderly father came along as well. He enjoyed the rockers on the deck and the pool. We did pick up a camp chair recliner at REI for him before we left to make it more like home for him. The living room furniture is okay, but not for really relaxing too long. Loved the tiki hut food and drinks. Fries are excellent and frozen rum runner is yumm. Nice to be able to charge it all to room. Enjoyed the daily music in afternoon, but would've liked it later in the evening. Loved the foot washer and shower when coming back from the beach. Very nice to get sand off. Pools were very nice. Room service pizza is very good! We watched the hula/fire show from the balcony-but made our own food. Cypress Room food is good but pricy. Nice to have large kitchen for cooking. Spent most days on the beach/pools which are easy walk even for my dad. Son did surf camp and loved it! Minor problems with room were quickly fixed by friendly staff. Mini golf at Captn Hooks was awesome! Would prefer to be able to swim/jacuzzi later in the night and get drinks later. They had nice activities for the kids that even the older ones liked. Overall very nice place. We'd stay again.

Short drive from hotel
Captain Hook's mini golf was great! Fireworks Wednesdays at market common was good, but very crowded. Not a good area is long walking is at all and issue.
