Horizon At 77th

This was a great hotel, however, the price almost doubled on the second day. I didn't know the price was suppose to go up that much. I didn't feel the receptionist was as warm & friendly as she should be.

Hotel is good location and staff is mostly pleasant if not completely trained. Delay in check in as they wanted to charge for cleaning and fees already paid. Clean and fairly well maintained. Hotel is noisy. We could hear everything from the hall and also side to side. Master bedroom was very dark with only one dim table lamp. Really needed a ceiling fan with light as there was in the 2nd bedroom. Kitchen convenient and adequately equipped. Parking garage was convenient but very tight. Can't imagine the number of dents when full at peak season. Nice location and beach access. Great value in March.

This is a condo complex, with an attendant at the front desk, so don't expect a grand front lobby, food, or other amenities you may at a 4 star hotel, there were 2 vending machines on the 2nd floor. Beside that, the condo was beautiful, very spacious, well appointed and clean. The indoor pool was small, 3 feet deep, but my kids enjoyed it. The outdoor pools are not heated.

First, if you are used to a comfortable bed, check elsewhere. Although this a relatively new hotel, they may have gotten the beds from an old hotel that was closing. Just not a mattress you would want to sleep on for more than 2 nights max. The bedrooms are very dark. Small lamps on bedside table with no over head light. the Kitchenette was nice and the sitting area was ok as well. I had a view of the ocean. Again, you are not on the beach. There is another resort in front of the hotel on the beach. If you are arriving at night, you need to be there before 11pm. Otherwise, they will leave your key at the hotel next door and you'll have to find that lobby to pick up your key. The lobby at Horizon is located above the parking garage right as you enter. Only a little difficult to find if you park in the back of the parking lot and take the east elevators. Shower/tub was just ok. It did produce hot water.

Really enjoyed our stay, didn't do anything the weather was on the chilly side so stayed inside but still enjoyed our stay. Would come back again!!!!

My kids loved it. Breath taking views. Quiet, great location. Will return as soon as I can.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with a great view of the ocean. The room had everything we needed. The thing to remember is you must first park in the parking garage and then go up to the first floor to check in to the hotel. After that you are all set to enjoy your stay.

Close to the beach, great amenities, and responsive staff.

It's a great value for the price, with comfortable rooms and an large room. The lazy river was heated well enough to swim in despite the December month. I wish the carpets were a little softer, but that's a small price to pay.

It was a last minute trip...Really enjoyed our stay the room was beautiful. I usually always stay oceanfront but the view was ocean view but the comforts of the room made up for that...Really wished we could have stayed longer will be staying her from this day forward and would recomend this hotel
