Holiday Inn Club Vacations MYRTLE BEACH-SOUTH BEACH

South Beach resort is an excellent property. It is on a site that is open with nicely landscaped gardens . You can walk across the street to their clubhouse on the beach or use the shuttle that operates continuosly. The beach is wide and the clubhouse has a pool . We have been to the resort 6 times and have always had a great time.

Again this is the best place to stay in Myrtle Beach.

Couldn't ask for more friendly, courteous staff. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The entire facility was extremely well maintained. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Location is good, though not directly ocean front, our room did have a good ocean view. Staff was pleasant but we were quite surprised at check in when we were assigned a room that was already occupied?!? Not sure how that happens...but overall a nice place, would stay again

This hotel was much more than I had envisioned. It s part of Holiday Inn's Vacation Resort program. It included a kitchenette, breakfast table and chairs, and sofa. It also had a balcony with a table and two chairs. Outstanding staff and other amenities. The hotel is truly a step above all other hotels on the Grand Strand strip!

Friendly staff, many pools on site. Located On the far south end of ocean blvd, so not as close to stuff, but a great stay. They will ask you to attend an ownership seminar, but they didnt keep bugging us when we said we weren't interested,

This hotel was excellent. It was across the street from the beach which was nice because it gave you space from the noisy crowds at the beach but they had a pool and a private gate that leads you to the ocean.

We stayed two nights in April 2012. We checked-in at 8:30pm on a Friday, and planned to leave at 7am on Sunday morning. Our daughters were competing in a National Championship cheering event. This was the recommended hotel of our organization. The accommodations were adequate. However, upon check-in, we were presented with a "savings voucher" to present to the "concierge desk". I knew this must have been a timeshare facility, because I was corraled before I could exit the lobby. Even though I explained that we were only intown for two nights, and would be unavailable for a "tour", the woman still insisted on giving me a "savings package" which was a plastic shopping bag containing useless coupons booklets. We went to our room, put our toddler son to bed, and proceeded to receive two phone calls from the front desk. (Both calls came AFTER 9pm.) One checking to see if we had found the crib for him. The other to see how our room was. We were up and out early Saturday morning, and didn't get back to the room until 8:30pm that night. We received a call from the "concierge desk" at 8:45pm, again offering us a "tour" of their facility. When I explained that we were leaving early in the morning, therefore we would not have time, the woman was less than polite. To say she abruptly hung up would be accurate. We will not stay there again. Even though the accommodations were fine, the pressure from the timeshare staff was not necessary. It was stereotypical attitude...on a larger scale than I have ever experienced.

The villa we had was beautiful! Plenty things to do with your family/friends or by yourself.Indoor/outdoor pools and jacuzzi.Me and my daughters especially enjoyed The Lazy River! The beach was beautiful and e very thing was so neat and clean! The staff was amazing from the front desk to the shuttle drivers etc.The Market Commons is the place to be for great shopping and dining.The movie theater was the best we've ever seen.Make sure to check out The Ripley's Aquarium and museum at the Boardwalk! Plenty to do from sun up to sun down.We'll definitely return!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was pleasantly surprised - the suite was very nice and overlooked the big pool. Loved the layout and decor. We originally thought it was on the beach, but soon decided it didn't matter. The place and staff were so wonderful. If I ever come back, this will be the place I will stay at.
