Days Inn Myrtle Beach-Grand Strand

Overall a good experience, they charge a resort fee once you reach the hotel which is $3 a night. There were lower rates avaliable at beach front hotels compared to this. Breakfast was very minimal.

First I would like to say that the front desk was actually very wonderful and went out of his way to make sure I knew where all ammenites were located. I hate that I forgot his name, he was a middle eastern man. But even checking in late after midnight, he greeted me with great customer service. The cleaning staff were also very joyful with me as well when interacted with. The only down side were the people next to me. There seemed to be alot of holligans staying around me at the time. I would def stay here again to give it another chance based on the staff and value. But would hope the next stay would not be as noisy.

The staff was very nice, and the location was great. It wasn't right on the beach but you could walk right across the street to it. We rented mopeds and drive the 2 miles it was away from the boardwalk and Ripleys. Breakfast was taken away at 9:15 so I didn't get any, both days I stayed. And the rooms were comfortable but could use some updating. The tv was old an had bad picture, but why are you watching tv on vacation anyways? The water liked the changed temperatures in the shower too. For the price, I'd definitely stay there again!

This hotel was as expected. Wasnt looking for anything special. just a place to crash for a couple of nights. Good value and great location. No complaints.

only stayed for 3 nights. Hotel was ok, staff was friendly, slightly unprofessional, but nice to us. Our room was clean, though very old and outdated. Cigarette burns on the comforter, gross dirty carpet, and there was about a one inch gap on the bottom left of the door that was slightly creepy. That let in a lot of noise. There was water damage on the ceiling and walls. The sheets and towels were clean. The pool was nice, a little dirty. Breakfast was pretty good, just basics like cereal, toast, oatmeal, and a danish. I might stay again, if it were a short time, but I couldn't stay here longer then 3 nights. Just not comfortable enough.

Overall the room quality and sevice was good for the money. Also being close to the beach wasn't bad!!! I would use this hotel again if looking for a value!!!

Just took a quick road trip down to the beach. The hotel was located one block from the beach, and it's only about 2 blocks from Family Kingdom, so it's in a great location. It was a great deal for the price. The rooms were decent and comfortable. I did see a dead bug in the bathroom and the room appeared to cool down unevenly, as the area closest to the bathroom was really chilly..near the AC unit, but the remainder of the room was somewhat warmer. Not really an accessible motel...lots of steps, did not see an elevator. I don't know if the pool had a closing time...saw families with young kids in it after 11pm. The parking lot is really small and even though there's additional parking in the back...the back parking lot is not visible from the rooms or from the main street, so it was somewhat dark. Hotel staff was friendly. It was really no-frills, but if you don't plan on sitting around in the room during your trip, it's a wonderful place to crash! Would stay again for a quick, affordable trip.

The only positive thing about this place is the beach is right across the street. Everything else is negative ...Straight to the point: The staff is terrible. Cannot be bothered for anything at any time ! The rooms and the hallways smell like urine ALL the time. The beds sag and are ITCHY!! ITCHY pretty much means one thing...BED BUGS! Saw a dead roach on the stair case when leaving. THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!!

Staff was great, location was great, hotel could be cleaner, good for weekend trip, however would not stay for longer vacations
