Myrtle Beach is known both as a beach resort and a golfer's paradise. The Grand Strand has more than sixty miles of sandy beach, and there are more than one hundred golf courses to choose from. Nance's in Murrell's Inlet has been around for decades, and is still considered one of the best places to eat. Cagney's Old Place is a local favorite that serves steak as well as seafood. Casual dress is fine for almost any place at the beach.

After the beach, Ocean Boulevard is the place to be. Lined with arcades, fun museums, and gift shops, and boasting a brand new boardwalk, Ocean Boulevard is a must visit spot.

The Coastal Grand Mall, Broadway at the Beach, and the Market Commons are just a few of the places that offer everything from clothing to jewelry to surf and sporting goods.
Sports
In the summer, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans are the minor league team to go see and cheer for.
