Almost Perfect
I had no issues with the room; however, when I was checking in I was told that not only do they have a Mastercard on file (I do not own a Mastercard), but they were showing that I had not already paid. Luckily I printed the receipt and brought it with me because I can't afford to pay twice! It worked out fine, but it worries me for future use of a traveling site rather than making the reservation directly with the hotel.

There are quite a few nice restaurants and casual restaurants within walking distance on Gervais St. It's great night life!

Clean & easy
Pleasantly surprised how clean and new the hotel is. We were driving through en route to Charleston and wanted a cheap but decent hotel in Columbia for the night that was close to some good restaurants. Ultimately this hotel is sort of in the corner of the Vista, but the big free parking lot made it well worth it. Even going to dinner in Five Points was a breeze. If we went back to Columbia, we'd probably stay here again.

Nice 2 day trip
We wanted to see the historic area of Columbia and this motel was within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and made excellent recommendations regarding places to eat and things to do. Wish they had a hot tub/whirlpool.

Parents of a USC Student
Great location to enjoy the Vista and USC
We've stayed a number of times here, and the location is perfect when visiting our son at school. Easy access to the Vista for entertainment, and only a short distance to campus.

Unusually Disappointed....
I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past....I usually love my stay here...I love the decor...and the beautiful open lobby....however, this stay was unusually disappointing. There were 2 large groups staying at the hotel....people were congregated in the lobby, talking so loudly that I could barely hear to check in....water from the swimming pool was everywhere...in the lobby...hallways...and elevators....Finally, when I arrived in my room it had an odor and the toilet would not flush properly....Again, I'm usually a fan of this hotel....but this stay was very disappointing.

Overnight wedding trip
Excellent experience. In town for a wedding downtown with some bar hopping afterward. Location is perfect as it is in walking distance of the Vista. Beds incredibly comfortable. Room clean. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Indoor pool and gym available. Typical breakfast, but tasty. Highly recommend.

great overnight stay!
Room was very clean & nice. Not your average hotel room - looks recently remodeled & has contemporary look. Very quiet & staff was friendly. Good breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay here again!

Ok Hotel, but noisy
Ok hotel, great staff, however, on my floor locksmith had to replace a lock at midnight. Didn't get any sleep with the drilling all night!
