Don't let the photos fool you.
Not the best place to stay. There are better hotels in the area with just as reasonable rates.

good price
They didn't change the bed for the 3 nights I stay their . I got a smoking room and the smoke alarm went of 3 times so I open the window when I smoke took care of that problem. When you fluse the water keep running until you move the handle.You can hear the trains go by late at night( but not many when by) They had free coffee in the early morring but got up at 9 am one day and it was all most gone by then, but over all for the price it was a good room I stay their again

NOT what I expected
I guess it is partially my fault; I have high standards when I travel. I want my room to be clean. I want a non-smoking room not to have cigarette butts in the ashtray. I expect the hotel to "feel" safe. I do not want to see "guests" that look like street-walkers in the lobby. I do not want to see burned-out, abandoned buildings in the neighborhood. The staff was courteous, but I seemed to be interrupting some other activity that they would prefer to be doing. The location was very close to Ft. Jackson and provided a bed to lay my head and sleep. I guess the old adage is correct, "you get what you pay for".

Attend a Wedding
The only thing that wasn't satisfying was WiFi. I think this amenity should be free because of the cost for the room. Paying 3.00 per day is expensive. I know that I won't stay another night at this particular motel because of this reason.

Great for the price
Booked this hotel for a graduation at fort jackson. Needed something cheap but close by just for one night. This was perfect. In a great spot, right off the highway and plenty of food options close by.
