The best getaway ever

We have visited Charleston on numerous occasions, but staying at the Wentworth Mansion made this the most memorable trip ever. We were within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and other attractions in the historic district.

Weekend in Charleston

We stayed at the Wentworth Mansion. The staff was courteous and helpful always willing to help with information about the city, help with reservations etc. The Mansion was beautiful. Excellent accomodations. The Wentworth Mansion is a wonderful place to vacation. We will definitely return.

Definitely go on a Harbor Tour. So much history. Loved it.

Charleston Escape

Great lazy weekend, wandering around town absorbing its history and atmosphere, and trying out many of the excellent and varied restaurant options. Hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Hotel itself was charming, comfortable and well located (although a bit of a walk to the hub of restaurants and shops). Comfortable beds. Fabulous bathrooms. My only mini complaint was the rather loud footsteps from the room above that woke me late in the night and early the following morning. Its a period building with wooden floors so not that surprising, however, a few more, strategically located rugs might help!

Great Week-end Getaway

The hotel is a historic landmark beautifully set in the heard of old town Charleston just a couple blocks away from all the restaurants, shops, and museums. The elegance of the mansion, extraordinary rooms, complimentary breakfast, drinks, and friendly staff, made this a fantastic and relaxing week-end getaway. My wife and I were very pleased.
