Sheraton Charleston Airport Hotel

I had prepaid our room so you would expect a quick check in. I would be wrong. The front desk personnel kept looking and looking to find a room for us. I heard them say they were out of king beds so I was waiting for them to say they were going to give us two double beds instead. That would of been fine if he would have done that with me. He did not and finally found us a room. We went up to our room and much to our surprise as we were getting to open the door someone came out of it. So they not only took forever, but then double booked us. I went back down to the front desk to get it fixed. I asked how this could happen and he had no response. I have never had this happen before at any other hotel. He quickly got us another(amazing how quick he was this time around) room and escorted us up to the club floor. After that fiasco the rest of the stay was fine. Room was nice. Hotel had a shuttle early in the morning to take us to the airport which worked out great. Not sure what happened at front desk, but I would give the place another chance since everything else was good. Hopefully that is a one time occurrence.

hotel is on the older side but room was clean. Nothing is within walking distance but hotel offers free shuttle to nearby restaurants and shopping.

The hotel was very comfortable, but the staff really pushed it over the edge. They were wonderful and really went out of thier way to help with anything possible.

This hotel was refurbished so it has alot of new updates. The inside/outside pool and fitness room was nice. We were on the club floor which offer additional benefits so that was nice as well. Enjoyed our stay. As far as the club floor, the chair in the room should be leather and not cloth. There was a split in the fabric and decreased the "luxury" feel of the room.

Nice place, take the phone # for the hotel when you land at the airport. You will need to call for the shuttle and it is a 15 minute ride to the hotel. Nice room, great buffet for breakfast for $13. Don't ask for a wake up call. I did and the call never came.

The shower head was a little leaky. The bed was super comfy. The location was close to restaurants and right off the highway: pretty convenient. The pools were nice.

The Hotel was only minutes to any and everywhere in the North Charleston, S.C. area ! In addition to a great location, the hotel had all of the aminities that one could ask for. I am definitely going to stay at this hotel everytime I go to Charleston.

It was just ok.

I loved this hotel, the location, staff and rooms. The only bad part of our stay was that there was also a HUGE family reunion staying at the hotel with rooms reserved on each floor, for the entire duration of our stay. They were very loud and at all times were in the lobby and in the halls in groups of about 30+ people in. Our room was near a vending machine so it was very loud every night. It was annoying to try to use the elevator because so many people were going from floor to floor all day. We also had times when we could not even find a parking spot because so many people were there, and the second lot, which was large, was off limits due to the "reserved parking" sign in front of the section. There weren't even any cars parked in it. Other than that, the hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly - as always at the Sheraton, so it was a shame that we weren't able to totally enjoy our stay.
