Great location
Hotel is in a great location for seeing all the sights in town, and staff is very friendly (not unique in Charleston). My room was comfortable, quiet but dated. Breakfast room is inadequate but they will deliver to the room. We were there on a very busy weekend and the price was way too high for what the hotel offers. I might stay again but only if other options are not available.

Long Weekend Visit
Perfect combination of modern conveniences and authentic historic charm. Comfy beds, large rooms with great views, and the complimentary wine and sherry made our stay delightful. The easy access to most of Charleston's attractions and restaurants made this location perfect. We were able to walk in every direction enjoying every alley and niche along the way to our destinations. We will return - again and again.

Not too clean !
Great location, but the room was not very clean we saw dust on the walls requested to be cleaned...they didn't. Pricy for what you got. The included breakfast was very weak.

The bed was hard. And the shower needs more water pressure. But overall a good experience. Locations is great. Staff extremely helpful.

Charming old hotel in good location in city
Friendly, helpful staff. Older hotel with lots of character. Good location in historic district within walking distance of harbor, restaurants, city market, and historic homes. Complementary continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were very good. Would stay here again.

Great Location, Great Staff, Great Stay
This was our first trip to Charleston, and we picked this hotel due to the price and location. We ended up loving this charming hotel! The location could not have been better, we walked to everything! The staff was wonderful, and helped us with every question we had, and made great suggestions on food and site seeing. The included breakfast was plenty to start our day, and the evening wine tasting was a highlight everyday!

Great Escape
Excellent location.Able to walk to all historic destinations and most restaurants. Was in town for Cooper River Bridge 10 K run. Parking in town was at a premium so having private parking at hotel was very nice. Room was cozy but very nice and very clean. Having option of having breakfast delivered to your room each morning is great and personal alternative. Hotel is tucked away privately in the city with gardens so it feels like a secret garden getaway.
