Not the Worst

After reading the reviews I was apprehensive but overall I had a good stay. The rooms need to be cleaned better on a day to day basis by the staff and the ownership should invest in some deep cleaning including steaming the carpets and power washing the outside areas. The florals outside go a long way to making this facility quaint and welcoming. I enjoyed the pool area, slept well and had a frige and microwave which made it easy to enjoy my delicious leftovers. The location is excellent and the front desk staff was the best and for these 2 reasons I would stay here again.

Avoid Sticky Finger, the food is dry and the ribs are not that good.

Great location for the price

This hotel serves the purpose of an excellent location for a low price. Stayed here two nights before our cruise. Everything you need is within walking distance. Cruise port is only one mile away. Overall good experience.

Customer Dissatifaction

The Hotel was good. We had an emergency and had to cancel the 2nd night to head home tried several times to call Orb customer service and were placed on hold for more than 1/2 up to hour with no luck talking to a rep for Orb. Hotel would have worked with us but said we needed to go through Orb to contact Hotel manager. Very dissatisfied with Orb customer service and will not use again. Way to treat a customer in need.

convenient little place

Charleston is such a amazing place and there is so much to see and do. Although finding a hotel that was in the middle of it all was challenging, especially since there was a budget. This hotel is in the middle of all the fun, affordable, and convenient to get. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is wanting to go to charleston.

would not stay again.

The location was great and parking was free, which was wonderful. Hotel staff was friendly during check in and check out. The room had a very strong mildew smell. I don't think the ac was working properly because everything in the room felt very damp. The room desperately needed updating and a good scrubbing. Although the location was quite convenient I would not stay here again. I'd prefer to stay just over the bridge in Mt. Pleasant in a cleaner, nicer hotel.

Awesome Location, but Missing That Certain Something

Overall, a good experience. A third party happened unexpectedly, who had to sleep on the floor due to lack of roll-aways. Room very clean, but not structurally perfect (doors askew, etc.). Beds very comfortable.
