Location, location, location

The ltocation of this Inn is excellent. Close to a number of excellent restaurants and shopping. Easy walking distance to a numberio of historical homes. The hotel staff was very helpful and they maintain a nice restaurant menu book. Their continental breakfast is more than adequate. The room was tastefully decorated, like the crown molding and plantation shutters. 24$ taxi to airport.

Very nice bed and breakfast inn

We really enjoyed our stay at the Andrew Pinckney Inn. The rooms had been recently redecorated and were very tastefully done. The beds were comfortable, and our room was spacious. There was some street noise from the restaurant nearby but otherwise the inn itself with quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful in the lobby, and we liked the beverage station with lemonade, coffee and cookies in the afternoon. It was nice to have the continental breakfast on the rooftop pation as well. The location was also very convenient to many attractions.

Great Location

I had a great time at The Andrew Pickney. It was a great location close to all the places that I wanted to see. The view was great especially the roof top restaurant. I took my boyfriend and we enjoyed ourselves and were looking forward to coming back.

Very nice stay plus location, location

Great staff, clean, comfortable room, tasty continental breakfast for free. Plus the location is fantastic: right in middle of historic district with hundreds of museums, art galleries, restaurants and curiosity shops within easy walking distance. Don't bother with a car. C-town is a great walking town and The Pinckney is a super home base.

Very nice Historic Hotel, beautifully renovated.

This hotel was very appropriately restored to its period. The rooms were spacious & comfortable. The staff was wonderful & there were fresh cookies waiting in the lobby at check in. The breakfast was nice as well, the view from the room & the roof top, where breakfast is served was great. This hotel was also very close to the Historical District of Charleston & the open air market as well as restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere. We will absolutely return to stay in the Andrew Pickney Inn.

Fantastic Fun in Charleston

The Andrew Pinckney Inn was very quaint and nicely decorated and clean. The British Colonial furniture was so tasteful, and I felt like I was in a much more expensive hotel. We enjoyed the cookies and tea in the afternoon. On the deck where a daily continental breakfast is served, we went with our glasses of wine to play Scrabble and enjoy the late afternoon breeze. The Inn is so convenient to everything that we didn't even need a car. I look forward to visiting again.

The horse and carriage tours is just down the block as well as the market where local crafts are sold. Restaurants, coffee shops and pubs galore are all within walking distance. Shopping is all around the hotel-- from art galleries to The Pottery Barn.

Great experience

The Albert Pinckney Inn has a great location and is reasonably priced. Having visited Charleston several times and staying in chain hotels on previous visits, this is by far the best bang for the buck. It is in the middle of historic Charleston and convienent to all of the local restaurants. The room was quite large and very clean with nice furnishing including granite topped bath fixtures. We enjoyed the roof-top contential breakfast and especially the warm cookies and lemonade each hot afternoon.

Great Downtown Location

The Andrew Pinckney Inn is located in the downtown area of historic Charleston. Almost all the historic buildings to view are within walking distance. The rooms are wonderful and add a bit of cultural flare to the experience. The breakfast buffet is okay. Transportation is required to get to Patriot's Point. Overall the Inn is a place that I will be willing to stay again when visiting Charleston.
