Aloft Charleston Airport & Convention Center

We both enjoyed the grown and sexy environment that this hotel had to offer. I believe we willl stay at this hotel when we are visiting Charleston fron now on..

I loved my stay the staff was great and the drinks at the bar were great also..... Loved it....

I stayed here three times this year. This is no longer a serious hotel. It has become a personal playground for the people who work the desk area. I needed a shuttle to the airport, but had to wait for the desk clerk and shuttle driver to finish their flirting with the bartender before I could be taken. No service here anymore, just a modern nice looking building where employees are allowed to "do their own thing". Last time here for me!

The only thing special about this hotel is the lobby area with the bar. The room didn't not even have a door or curtain for the restroom! When I called the front desk about this the manager offered to nail holes in the walls to put up a sheet. Worst off all the toilet still had urine stains which means the restroom was not cleaned. I went to the walmart to buy bleach to clean the room myself. Never will I stay here again.

The bathroom was old and worn from the tile on the floor to the rusting shower handles to the broken tile on the wall. The room was exceptionally noisy and we did not sleep soundly. There was a compressor that kept going on and off all night, and the elevator could be heard in our room although we were on the other side of the same floor.

Very nice, modern. Not near the waterfront. Very close to the airport and Boeing

I wish there were more hotels like this one. Awesome modern ammenities and decor, reasonable price for the location. As a former hotel manager, this would be a dream property for me. It is a bit to casual on the uniforms and it made it hard to identify people that worked there. A each associate wore a polo shirt with a logo, but no standardize color. few minor faults. Frosted glass partition was awesome design but made for an awkward room sharing. A/C struggled to keep room cool until the sun went down. My room had a little noise from elevator. I was ok, but if you are a light sleeper, request the end of the hall.

I like the aloft chain. The man who checked us in was very friendly but the lady who checked us out seemed like she didn't care at all. The power went out the morning we checked out so the elevators were down and there was no hot water. The hotel made no attempt to compensate us. I still like the hotel chain. They have the nicest beds.

I arrived at the hotel and the front staff (ANDREW) was such a great help. I had a great time and would stay there again. It is very modern and upscale. The staff was such a pleasure to be around. Location was perfect and I felt safe. The grounds were very clean.

This is a fun hotel! Very organized and Euro. It is next to the airport so you do hear the airplanes. But the service to the airport, shuttle was excellent! Very clean.
