January 24th to April 30th 2013 - Hoter renovating to add five suites and enhance the lobby while remaining open. Scheduled from Mon to Fri 8am to 4pm. Cassatt Tea Room, unavailable during lobby renovations.Spa services not available on some days. Afternoon Tea served in Lacroix. some noise and visual disturbance will be on the 1st floor and 3rd floor over certain dates to be determined and due to scheduling. Hotel will do all possible to make guest stay comfortable and disturbance free. Overview The Rittenhouse Hotel, a AAA Five Diamond luxury property, enjoys a premier location on historic Rittenhouse Square, in the heart of Philadelphias shopping and cultural centers. Elegant traditional hotel

Traditional and accommodating. Amenities were wonderful and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Glad we stayed at the Riitenhouse - it was a lovely splurge.

The concierge recommended a great bar and restaurant: Village Whiskey. A fantastic list of scotch, Irish and American whiskeys. Ask for a flight of your own selection - the bartender was immensely knowledgeable if you want to talk whiskey for a while.

Great hotel

Arrived after midnight after travelling for most of the day. Everyone was very gracious and I was able to get room service (dinner) at 1am. Very grateful I didn't have to make a meal of the snacks.

Wonderful Hotel Experience in Downtown Philly

From the suite-sized room to the fantastic staff service (concierge Brian got us table at R2L at last minute and our meal with our clients was superb!) and room service, it doesn't get any better than this for us. We consequently could throroughly enjoy a rigorous work week in town while feeling pampered at 'home base'. Thank you for pointing us to this fantastic hotel!

Wonderful overnight stay

Beautiful spacious room with great bathroom. Sitting areas. Great restaurants on premises and location is walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

Excellent Acommorations & Service

Large King room had couch and writing desk. Bed was very comfortable with quality linens. Spacious bathroom. Used gym which was well equiped. Convenient location to dining and sights.

fabulous

There are more expensive hotels in the city but none with this level of personal service attention to detail and class. We travel alot and continue(this was not our first time at the Rittenhouse)to be impressed. Lacroix is certainly in the top 5 restaurants in Philly. Staying right on the square simply adds to the charm. You will not be disappointed.

Totally Pampered

We were able to relax in comfort. The room was luxurious and beautiful. I loved looking out over the lovely park. Service was impeccable, staff was polite and attentive. The pool was out of order but the hotel provided usage of another hotel pool and complimentary car to and from so that we could swim during our stay. Would stay there again and recommend to friends.
