Nice with a friendly staff
This is a top notch hotel but not downtown so when you want to do something you need to get a cab, which they get for you. Every staff member always asks if they can get you anything. The parking was pretty steep $39 for each night.

The Inn at Penn
Great location for the family with a student at Penn. Only issue was the air conditioner - very loud and constantly going on and off during the night. Will stay here again.

Close to Penn
I enjoyed the fact that the hotel is so close to my son's school and that we could walk everywhere we needed to go. The rooms were recently redone and are very nice and clean. The staff was pleasant and the room service was punctual and exactly as ordered.

A gret place for Penn Parents
What a grand property to stay on UPenn campus. One of only 2 hotels on the campus and by far the best. The concierge has been there 15 years and will treat you like a long lost friend. Even better, she will help out you kids like a great aunt if they need. Need help getting your kids stuff up to his room, she'll find it. Need chicken soup for your sick kid when you are at home, she'll arrange it. Need someone to clean your kids apartment 5 times a year, she has the people. The rooms are smallish, but impeccably clean and well appointed. The breakfast buffet is really well done and the on property restaurant is great. But even if the property was mediocre, which it isn't, I'd stay there for the location and the concierge alone. It fills up very early for college events, move-in, parents weekend and graduation and so they take the opportunity to abuse you for those dates; parents weekend goes from a normal $229 rack to $399 a night with a 2 night minimum. . . and they still fill it up. A really great property.

well run, neat, clean hotel
We have stayed at this hotel before. It is a great location for when we are visiting our daughter at college. For a hotel that has a captive audience because of it's location it is shockingly well run and kept up in superb fashion.
