5 star prices for 2 star hotel
Tried to request early checkin, front desk would transfer me to reservations, reservations told me to call front desk because we were there for a confernce. Front desk knew that before transferring us. Back to front desk...call reservations. Tried three days in a row finally gave up. First day we returnto the room around 4:15pm. Housekeeping never was in. 4:30 quick tap, housekeeping, open door. Tell her we're tired we've been since 7am and just returned, just give us new towels. We got for one of us, not two. A little after 5 another tap. Housekeeping, can we turn down your bed? The bed they didn't make that we did ourselves. No top sheet, just very heavy comforter. One we'd spend half the night kicking off because too warm, the other crawling under it to get warm. We sent the temp to 65 because it was so heavy. Beds are great if you like soft feels like cloud. I don't, much prefer firm and my back agrees with me. Shouldn't wake up with a back ache you didnt have before bed. Stayed at a hotel in Florida, third of the price rated budget. They had better service.

No romantic decorations for special occasions.
My husband and I stayed for a night to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We indicated this when we made our reservation and were hoping the hotel would prepare something special, something romantic for us. To our dismay, they basically told us they didn't do anything complementary for special occasions except for provide four cookies on a plate and a glass bottle of water. That's not special nor romantic at all!! Very disappointed with that poor gesture because hotels obviously do prepare romantic set-ups, I've experienced it as a newlywed when my husband and I first got married and why else would there be that option when making a reservation online?

Amazing!
I def consider myself a hotel snob and LOVE staying at this hotel. Location is perfect. Lounge is cozy and romantic, bed is super comfy, amenities are high end.

New Year's Weekend visit
bed was extremely comfortable; gym facility was good, a few more cardio machines would have been nice. bar was very nice. staff at front desk, housekeeping and lobby bar were excellent. great location, easy to get around the city.

They had an excellent rate over the holidays. We have stayed here before. Great location, and a very nice facility. Good gym too.

Perfect location peaceful trip
Blasted in for the 76ers game from CT, rode train to AT&T. Easy on and off. Walked the streets to the museums, a brisk 20 minutes or so. Shopping, great food and friendly staff. Took train to the burbs from Suburban station down the street and left with a smile on my face.

Fun weekend in Philly
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Sofitel. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet despite all the activity all around. Staff were overall very pleasant and accomodating; only down side was the obsequious fawning house manager the morning we checked in, and the fact that the maid - who we asked to come back later around 9am didn;t come back till 5pm (when we were again in the room), so basically the room didnt get cleaned on Saturday till bedtime.That said, we'd stay here again it is well situated and comfortable
