nice inside great area and neighnorhood
Outside could use paint and updating but obviously they've made room upgrades. Bathroom and room clean and updated. Comfortable room for business traveler. Close to museums and downtown locations. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Pub and grub across the street has great food too.

If you are not concerned with luxury, and you have location and budget in mind, then this is the hotel for you. Just a 5-minute walk to the Philadelphia Art Museum and other attractions, along with free parking and free internet, as well as a on-site bar, make this hotel a no brainer.

Great location
The Best Western was comfortable, the room very good, with two tables, TV, coffee machine, access to internet. The location was very good in the center of the city.

So So Hotel
Older Motel on the edge of the city downtown area. Reasonable distance to shopping and recreation, probably a cab. Hotel needs a renovation. While we were there a ceiling leak developed in the hotel corridor. However, the room and the bedding were clean. The breakfast in the dining area was served buffet style. Eggs and bacon were pretty dryed out at 9:00 AM. Overall, my rating is just so-so.

Fun escape from daily grind

Two-Day Trip
Parking was great. No problem with the check in. Room was relatively clean. The room and hallway carpet needs changing. Just wished the room had a microwave oven and a small refrigerator. Street view from the window. I would certainly visit again. The staff was professional and pleasant. We walked to all the major tourist sites such as the Philadelphia Bourse, the Liberty Bell, etc.

Free City parking. Independent check-in and check-out for traveler who does not want or need assistance with luggage, etc. and no tipping.
