The Vintage Plaza, a Kimpton Hotel, brings luxury to downtown Portland. We really liked this hotel.Our room was spacious,clean and very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the offer of 4 choices of wines in the late afternoon and good coffee in the morning were greatly appreciated. The location was near to restaurants and shopping, very convenient.

Perfect for a short business trip
The room small but clean, the bed and pillows are decent, and the staff is very friendly. The best part is the free wifi when you join its free loyalty program. The little Teddy bear on the bed is a nice touch. The room service breakfast was tasty but a little on the expensive side. I did not use the on-site gym, and there's little to no free amenities in the room (some food and toiletries for purchase in the room). However, for the price, I don't expect five-star amenities. Definitely good value for a short business trip.

Spring Break
Great location just two blocks away from Pioneer Square. We made a joke about everything being .2 mile away. Great attached restaurant was nice for all meals. Happy hour each day with local wines was a fantastic way to kick off the evening. Only valet parking available for cars or across the street public options. The staff could not have been nicer. Really lovely stay.

Good stay!!!!
Stayed three nights in a spa room. Other reviewers have lamented about no windows but I kinda liked the skylight only feature. NOw the shower was a different story. Although a nice shower head itself, the shower was barely big enough to turn around in. One had to turn off the water to work the dispensers of soap/shampoo; so that wasn't so hot. All in all, I was quite pleased with staff and location...very helpful and its right downtown close to lots of nice restaurants and business interests. Indeed a good stay, would recommend to all!!!

Nice, Great Service, But Noisy
Kimpton properties are always a nice option. The staff are wonderful, the service is great, and the afternoon wine tasting is a nice way to end the day and begin the evening. My only complaint was that our corner room (315) suffered from substantial street noise throughout the night. Garbage trucks banged dumpsters; rusty mufflers rattled at the stoplight; and the occasional drunkard howled at the moon. This, as you might imagine, affected our sleep. Still, the downtown location is perfect, and the hotel itself is quite nice. I would stay here again - just in a different room.

The hotel was friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious, clean, well thought out. Restaurant is great if needed., Location is great for shopping, eating out, walking around - close to most Arts facilities. A great visit on all counts.

Great Location
Great Hotel! Great Location! We were in Portland to watch a couple of plays. Hotel was in walking distance of the theaters. Never had to use the car in the three days we were there.

Good stay
I enjoyed my stay very much the only negatives were a sllighty uneven bed the tub and toilet bowl needed deep cleaning. Staff were wonderful and location perfect.
