Romantic getaway
It was a great stay. The front desk gave coupons for Two free happy hour dishes. The room has a nice long tub and a separate shower. The windows actually open- when is the last time you saw that in a downtown hotel. The room was well appointed and a nice size. Location was close to great restaurants. Extra charge for Internet was a disappointment.

Birthday Weekend
Walking into the hotel, I was exited. It seemed nice, so I was to see the room. The room looked nice, the shower in the bathroom was huge. I couldn't wait to take a shower.....a couple minutes into my shower i noticed that it wasn't draining. Yuck! God knows how many peoples filth I was standing in! Standing water from a backed up drain is disgusting. I immediately jumped out of the shower and had to rinse my hair in the sink...which by the way, didn't have hot water! I kept waiting, the water never reached an acceptable temperature. Needless to say I won't be back. Had fun in Portland, but then had to rush home for a shower the next morning.

A great hotel in a great downtown location
There are the more obvious Westin perks, like the good-sized and tastefully modern furnished rooms, and more importantly the unmatched showers and beds. Also, the staff is incredibly professional and gives you a warm welcome. The location - a stone's throw from the Pearl district and across the street from a major food cart hub - is perfect for business and leisure. The WiFi is not complimentary, but can be used for four different devices. - Highly recommended.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Treat yourself to a weekend brunch or dinner at Clyde Common which is a five minute walk away. The atmosphere is casual, the food is outstanding, but not overly pricey.

Great location for shopping
Had a lovely one night stay at this hotel. Staff was great, room was spotless, bathroom was fancy, and location was perfect for our shopping agenda. LOVED the double shower head. I would suggest asking for a room without one of those doors that joins 2 rooms together. Quite a lot of noise from our very happy, laughing neighbors came through ours. Wasn't awful, but didn't want to be woken up, even if by laughing!

Great stay
The hotel and staff were excellent, starting with Kord at the front door to greet us. We enjoyed our stay and it would have only been made better with free internet available in our room. Other than that a great place to stay, centrally located and very friendly.

Room is great. Like the double shower heads. We stayed for the Marathon event. It real help to relax the muscles. Excellent location, everything is a short walking distance whether you want fancy food, street vendor food, or shopping. We only wish that hotel can extend a hour of late check out, so we don't have pack everything in a big hurry after running the marathon.

Great location
This hotel is in a great location in downtown Portland. Close to good food & entertainment. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Now for the down side...$35 to park is a little steep and it would have been nice to have room service available. Other then that I would give it 4 out of 5 stars.
