Needs improvement

This motel is a bargain, but has some drawbacks. When we checked in, there was one couple ahead of us. We waited for 20 minutes while the one inexperienced clerk checked them in. There was a supervisor there who was doing data entry and who completely ignored the people waiting to check in. That plus an inefficient computer system made the check in take much longer than usual. The motel itself is just okay, close to downtown Portland.

Good value

This hotel has a lovely garden, and the location is good for Beaverton or downtown Portland. The hotel hasn't been updated for quite a while, but it is clean and quiet, and the price was right.

Fun time in Portland

This is a nice hotel/motel for the price you pay. They have a fantastic complimentary breakfast in their restaurant. However, the staff is pretty slow to check us in. We have been upgraded to a better room, even though that one is also not precious enough. The place is close to the Washington park area.

Good Value

We had no issues - check in was fine, staff was friendly, room was tired but clean. Fan/AC worked fine and blocked out any noise. Bathroom large and clean. The one thing that surprised me was that they still have actual door keys vs card keys. I thought most hotels had changed due to security concerns. We left early and did not have time for breakfast but the staff even offered to fix us something to go - nice touch.

Close to Portland

The location is about 20 mins. west of downtown Portland via Hwy 26, beside a stip of car dealers in what must be a suburb of Portland. The site is nicely landscaped in the back, and there is a unheated pool and a heated hot tub, which we didn't try. The room was quiet and mostly clean, except for a candy wrapper on the floor next to one of the beds. One queen bed was very comfortable, but the other only so so. The bathroom tile grout needed additional cleaning due to mold & mildew, which has got to be a serious Portland area problem given the climate. Room included frig, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker and newer flat screen TV. Nice restaurant with a limited but value plus breakfast (included with room) menu and good service. We'd definitely stay there again.

Good value hotel

I've stayed here a few times. Although the rooms are relatively plain the prices can't be beaten for a decent hotel in the Beaverton area. The bed was comfortable, but the room lacked a comfortable chair for viewing tv or reading. It included a table and two chairs which were like desk chairs. Unsecured internet access is available, so the table was where my laptop remained. There is a decent restaurant with a free limited menu breakfast for guests, or a $3 discount from the price of a more comprehensive meal. Since the room price was so low the breakfast is an added bonus.

Really good place to stay!

The only thing that could be better about this place is of course, the one thing that can't be changed and that's location. It was just a little too far out from the city. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel but the last bus from downtown to go out there was at 8pm, so we had to take a different bus that dropped us off about a mile from the hotel and we had to walk back in the dark. Other than that, this hotel was a lot of fun, good food, great hospitality and the cigar bar was a lot of fun. Loved the hot tub and the room with a view as well!

Good deal and nice breakfast.

It is a good location. They did have trouble with the internet in the room and the tv, but got the tv fixed. The location was good and it was a nice breakfast provided in the morning.

Can't complain

King bed, microwave, and fridge in room. Outdated decor. Wireless works! Clean and quiet. That's all I really needed/expected. We had a rental car so this room worked for us.
