Red Lion Hotel on the River - Jantzen Beach is conveniently located on the scenic Columbia River, just minutes from downtown Portland and 15 minutes from the Portland International Airport via the on-call airport transportation (surcharge). The easily accessible and central location is close to all Portland attractions, major businesses and the spectacular Columbia River Gorge. The Jantzen Beach Supercenters shopping complex is less than a half-mile away.

- Standard Queen offers Two Queen Beds Non Smoking. This 450 square foot guestroom features a two queen sized beds. Nice trip and nice people in Red Lyon.
The staff was very helpful and the hotel was beautiful . I'll be there again. They upgrade my room with 10 dollars more every day. The only problem was with the rental car , Advantage was the company. Portland and the people there were very nice with us. Every thing was wonderful !

Adequate, but not great.
We found the hotel adequate, but not without its problems. Our room was on the first floor. We had a little patio attached to our room via a sliding glass door. The floor felt more like a basement than a hotel. It was cold and dark. The room had a in-unit heater with two settings: too hot and too cold. We chose this hotel because it sat on the river. However, the river view was obscured by a three-story tall river-boat. Finally, the hotel is along the departure line of 28L and 28R at PDX. It was not exactly a quiet experience.
