uuuggg!!!
First: they gave me a room that was already occupied! I used the card that they gave me and the door opened and I found stuff in the room. Thankfully nobody was in the room. Second: When I talked with the cleaning personnel about the occupied room problem neither of them could speak english. They called somebody on the radio and the girl who came over could speak very little. I did get a new room after a 15 minute wait. Third: Somebody who had a key entered my room at 9:15am the next morning! Not sure who it was as I was in bed but thankfully I had the hitch on the door! I am guessing it was a staff member as the person did knock before he/she opened the door. And the last part: I was watching a movie and the TV all of the sudden said "no signal." and I had no signal for the remainder of my stay. This hotel has security problems and staff problems. Not staying at this hotel again!

I've stayed here several times and it's always clean and the staff is amazing. They always give great service, both personal and professional. The location to the airport and Cascade Station shopping is perfect.

Overnight Stay
I liked how clean the room seemed to be and how much space there was. I loved the bathroom. The overall look of the hotel was nice. My only complaint was being able to hear everything outside my door and window.

Basic but clean
This hotel was cheap for a weekend getaway. It has it's basic amenities and had free airport transportation. They had their own restaurant and you can call into order and pick it up. Friendly staff and a mini snack store and essential travel stuff. Comfy bed and very clean.

Good airport location
Just a little warning: There was no elevator in this two story hotel, so travelers with luggage found things a bit difficult. The hotel was clean and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Shuttle was on time and willing to wait a couple of minutes for a guest who was late for the 4:20a ride to PDX.

park and fly
this hotel has park and fly,which means that if someone lives in salem Oregon and spend one night at the red lion hotel they can park their car there for two or three weeks, which make people who fly into Portland and stay at the hotel and rent a car thru any of the various car rental places, you cant find a place to park at the hotel, people were parking in the grass ,double parking, and blocking other people in,its a real shame.
