Great location, too expensive
Why is it that the more you pay for a hotel, the less amenities are included? This was the only hotel on our trip where we had to pay for parking and wifi, there was no microwave or fridge, and no free breakfast. And it was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed at. Yes, the bed was comfortable, so that was great. But we had the worst view in the hotel (I guess we got the cheapest room even though it was expensive for us). It was awesome to be right by the river, though, and within walking distance of downtown Portland. Great location. But from now on, we'll stay in smaller hotels with more amenities.

A wee bit disappointing...
Recently remodeled to more contemporary designs and colors. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The location was great and right on the waterfront, but the rooms were way too small for the price.

The hotel and staff were very nice. There was some early morning (6 a.m.) construction work that was a bit bothersome. Bartender in bar was great!

Great trip, wretched hotel choice
Room was oversized broom closet. No amenities of interest. Snobby staff. It felt like their hands were in my pocketbook the entire stay.

Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Function we attended was just down the street so this is the reason we chose this hotel. Bad choice. Should have gone with the Crown Plaza or some other hotel nearby.
