Each suite is like a charming apartment, classically appointed and complete with a fully equipped kitchenette and separate sitting room. For the more minimalist approach, recently remodeled rooms are offered at the Inn, located across from the main building, where splendid views of Downtown Portland and Mount Hood highlight the accommodations. "Informal elegance within the soul of a great city."

Unpleasant experience at Park Lane suites
Unfortunately, we have had an unpleasant experience at this hotel. The room itself is nice, the check-in and check-out was fine. But the one major problem was that the room's walls did not protect from various noises coming from outside. It was like staying in the street, except that it can be much quieter in the street. We could not sleep and got up exhausted in the morning. I should mention that we have been placed in their motel-type building across the main building

Great location in Portland
24 hour front desk with super friendly staff! Walking distance to vibrant 21st and 23rd street areas, as Powell's books. Bus stops just down the street and the MAX stop for the hotel is a ten minute walk. Very convenient and comfortable stay.

Depending on how long your stay in Portland is you might consider getting a week-long pass from TriMet. That way you won't have to worry about having exact change for the bus each time. The all-day pass is also a good deal.

Great location!
It is a great location but the rooms were a little bit noisy and the heater was really loud. I would stay here again though because of the awesome location! Walking distance to wherever you need to go!

Great Location
Although it is called a suites and inn, our room was neither a suite or in an inn. Our room was across the street in a motel. They offered to upgrade us to the suites after 2 nights but we didn't want to move for our 4 night trip. No amenities at all, no pay tv movie option which would have been nice in this rainy city. The room was very clean and looked new. Although there were three parking areas, we were not able to get a space after 10pm on Saturday and had to look for street parking. These were the only negatives which weren't terrible. I would stay here again and recommend to friends. The location and price was great.

Very clean European style room w/ nice bath. A bit bright at night due to the security lights, & no coffee maker in room but great coffee, cider & cocoa in lobby. Right off Burnside so close to everything.
