Few problems
This hotel was picked because it said it had a 24 hour airport shuttle. After several delays I arrived at PDX at 2:30am. There was no shuttle, the driver was sent home. Ten dollars taxi. Once at the hotel the computers were down and told "don't know when they will be working". She had the reseveration but no room keys or access to any of the hotel amenities. Granted the hotel is not at fault for my plane delays but the whole experience was not the best.

wonderful!!
The staff there are fabulous! Extremely freindly and helpful, making you feel welcome and most important. This was our second stay with their chain. It is now our place of choice to stay when traveling!

go michigan football
Football weekend!
Came to Portland for a quick weekend to watch my son plaly football (coming from Michigan!). So the location close to the airport was wonderful. The absolute best part of the location was the beautiful bike path (running for me) so close to the hotel. Ran watching airplanes land and take off on one side - and the river the boats on the other. Absolutely beautiful!! The location - Oregon in general - so gorgeous - and the weather helped...a very nice weekend! I was also allowed to stay in my room until noon, since I had an afternoon flight - very helpful.

Short walk from hotel
IHop and better yet - Buffalo Wild Wings are within a few feet of the hotel. Was able to come back to the hotel after the game and watch football (even Michigan football!) at Wild Wings....and walk back to hotel. That was very nice!

Great for early flights
Didn't have a lot of time to spend here, but the time I did spend was very nice. Comfortable and spacious room, including a huge sectional if I had had time to invite some friends over!

Stayed for the weekend and enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt place. Not only were the rooms nice and spacious but they were very clean. The staff were great and I would definitely stay here again.

Hyatt-Portland Airport
The staff were busy as we arrived, but the wait time was modest. Rooms were great. Airport noise was not an issue at all. Upon leaving (early) for our flight, checkout was fast & the complimentary Continental breakfast (though Spartan) was a great help as we rushed to catch our flight! We've stayed at this Hyatt a couple times before. It has consistently been top notch.
