Weekend Trip
We were in town just for the weekend for a wedding. The key didn't work on the door closest to us so we had to walk around to get to our room, which is always a pain when it's raining. The complimentary breakfast does not include lids for the coffee, so don't expect to take it to-go! you get what you pay for; a bed to sleep in and pretty decent and friendly hotel staff. I was having trouble fixing my hair for the event and the lady at the front desk was nice enough to give me some suggestions on how to fix it! All the girls that were working there were very friendly.

Just An Overnight Stay...
Was just passing through Portland on a random roadtrip & needed a quick, cheap reservation. Got in after midnight & the staff were very friendly & helpful. The location was a lil' lack luster, but the room had a jacuzzi tub so I enjoyed myself.

Great hotel for bargain price. Location allows for good access to bus routs and food if strapped for time. Staff is extremely helpful in suggesting local fair as well as tourist spots. Complimentary items a plus!

Business Trip
The staff went out of their way to accommodate me, since the reservation did not show up on their computers. However, with my copy in hand, they ensured I had a room. The building is a little old, and I wouldn't suggest walking around the area after dark, as there are adult entertainment businesses nearby. It was close to pizza and a convenience store. The restaurant next door is Indian cuisine. The hotel was minutes from my workshop, and the location was great for me.
