Perfect spot for seeing Portland
The Hotel Lucia was our favorite of the places we stayed on a 10 day trip in the NW. The staff was helpful - always pointing us the the perfect direction for restaurants, etc. The location is great for sightseeing in Portland - within easy walking distance of Powells book store and lots of great restaurants and shopping. The room was small, but had everything we needed - including the best hairdryer ever!

What a great weekend!
This is a great place to stay for a weekend in downtown Portland. Almost everything is within walking distance. Rooms are small but it's what you expect for a trendy hotel. The bathroom, however, was much larger than expected. The only problem we had was blowing a circuit while ironing and using the hair dryer. :) The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in early, were timely with valet, and gave excellent restaurant recommendations. On our next visit to Portland, we will definitely stay here again.

Do yourself a favor and avoid the many Starbucks in the area. There's a Peet's Coffee one block south or go 2 blocks west to Stumptown for the best coffee in Portland.

good for a short stay
It's a nice place, but the room was very small even though we were upgraded to the superior level room. The bed was comfortable and the towels were excellent. The exercise room was also small but adequate as long as no more than three people were there at the same time I think a hotel of this quality should not charge for internet access.

very comfortable stay
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room tastefully decorated. The bathroom in my room (standard queen room) was nice but very small. It worked fine for one person. Staff were great, friendly and always willing to help.

A great place to stay
We have stayed at Hotel Lucia several times in the past, and we are never disappointed. The rooms are small, but great. The location is perfect, close to the Pearl District and great shopping and restaurants. We look forward to our next visit. Be sure and take the time to enjoy a drink at Bo, the hotel bar.

Great time
Hands-down best hotel experience we have ever had. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, making suggestions even before we asked. All their suggestions were perfect for us. The room was a little small, but clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed. Great location. We will stay there again.
