Didnt like it too much

Room was EXTREMELY small and we literally had to eat on the bed. The least I could expect is a pair of chairs to sit. Did not find even basic amenities like a vending machine. Parking costed $20 for a night.

Nice but not roomy

This is a nice boutique hotel, well situated in portland's downtown. The staff are gracious, friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the bathroom was tiny. It had everything, but was smaller than any similar hotel I have stayed in. Given the price of the room, I was surprised that the quarters were so small. Very nice, but small

Great spot

First time in Portland and Hotel Lucia treated me right. Stayed in room 708 which was a corner room and had a good view. Friendly staff and great location. Only negative is the bathrooms are definitely on the small side.

Good centrally located Portland hotel

We spent a pleasant weekend in Portland staying at the Lucia. Staff were very friendly and efficient and internet access was free. Food in the Imperial restaurant was very good and the hotel is centrally located so its easy to walk to other area restaurants. Downsides - the room was a bit small and parking was extra.

Great Atmosphere

This was our first trip to Portland. We were very happy with the location as it is very central to everything you'd want to see in the city. The atmosphere of the hotel is the perfect mix of classic and modern. Contemporary artwork in the lobby along with black and white photography throughout give it a very sophisticated feel. Amenities in the room were all new along with free wifi. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was average size – we had a king size bed and did not feel cramped. One huge bonus is the Imperial restaurant off the lobby – phenomenal house made meets, local food, mixologist cocktails, and beer selection. The restaurant would be a must visit even if not staying in the hotel.

You cannot miss the Imperial restaurant. Every dish we had was great. From dinner to cocktails to simple beer and burger were perfect. Before leaving to the airport we had brunch – by far the best french toast I've ever had!

Good location

The location was good, in the heart of downtown. The hotel itself was fine. Had read many reviews on the small rooms and paper thin walls. Both were true. Tiny is a better description, esp bathroom. Fine if you don't plan to stay inside much. Staff was ok - offered us an umbrella but not much else. Don't expect much in terms of extras. Compared to my stay at the Nines not as comfortable - staff was excellent, remembered our names, rooms were large and fitness center one of the best. Location was much better, though pricier. Comes down to how much you want to pay and preference on amenities.

It felt like we slept in a closet

They offered an early check in and we excepted room 609, the room was so small that we had to take turns entering, open the door and the bed was at your feet. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain so you had to put your hand in the sink while using it. The noise at night was unbelievable they do provide ear plugs. The staff was kind, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel costly for what you get
