Perfect place for a night out in Portland
Beautiful hotel! It is centrally located in downtown Portland which made for easy walking. Parking was the only hiccup. $20 to pay overnight parking at the "executive tower", which is across the street from the main building. This was confusing at first and made for several trips around the block on one-way streets. Not a big problem! The room was great and we had a view of the river and city. Will stay here again!

Quality Place at a Quality Price
Everything was great, and the only down side to the entire experience was the hassle with parking and the format/operating system of the TV. While we didn't spend that much time in the room, the small amount of time we did spend in the room would have been more enjoyed had the TV just been able to have been turned on and skimmed through channels rather than deal with their unique menu design. Some thing quick and simple became full of hassles and time consuming. Outside of this minor issue the entire experience was wonderful.

Work and Play
I spent 9 days in this hotel - mostly for work and then a couple of days visiting the city. The hotel is very clean and comfortable - room was a bit cramped. I had a room by the elevator, but the noise was not bad. Views are nice from higher floors. There is a nice gym which I didn't get to use, unfortunately. It's "full service" so bring a lot of cash for gratuities. The location is really easy to get to and get places from thanks to the MAX, but if you are looking for something with a little more neighborhood character, look somewhere else.

It was good
It's what you would expect form a large chain hotel. Front staff was attentive but not pleasant. The maid came into our room and disturbed our nap, which was strange because our hotelroom had already been cleaned several hours earlier. The experience left me a little uneasy. $10.00 for wifi and $20 for parking is ridiculous! I felt like it's just a another way for a big chain hotel to milk you for more money. All in all, great place and location (Would give 3.5 stars). Within waling distance to many of Portland's great restaurants and pubs.

Fitness
If fitness is an important part of your travels, Hilton has the best fitness facility we've ever experienced...a large selection of cardio equipment, free weights, medicine balls, and so much more; a separate stretching/exercise room; a 2-lane lap pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room. The fitness center and the convenient location to the MAX light rail are what will be bringing us back to Portland Hilton.

Relaxing getting!
The staff was very professional. The bistro had fresh and yummy food. The room was always clean. I would have prefered a non-handicapped bathroom but a big space just the same. I love to take a bubble bath! The location was in the heart of the city close to everything by foot. Liked that we could use the pool and get our work in everyday.Looking forward to my next visit and know just where I will stay. We had a great Thanksgiving with you all. See you soon.
