Great downtown hotel
The downtown Portland Embassy Suites is a beautiful old renovated hotel in a good location to restaurants, shops and entertainment. We were very satisfied with everything from the friendly, helpful staff at the front desk to the large, comfortable room. We enjoyed both managers' happy hour and the breakfast the next morning. We already have recommended this hotel to friends.

Beautiful old hotel with modern updates
Loved the architecture and the building's charm. Rooms were large and had everything one could need. Beautifully decorated. Bed was extremely comfortable. We were there for a nearby wedding. Very convient location and wonderful free breakfask the next morning before we left. Wish there were staff milling around the lobby to help with questions.

Beautiful Hotel!
The downtown location was fantastic. Very Central with lots of shops and cafe's. We had a King suite that was extremely reasonably priced for the quality of the hotel. Beautifuly redone old world charm of the lobby and room. The only drawback is that the hotel does not have complimentary parking. There is a lot across the street that hotel guests can park in. It's $18.00/per day or $28.00/per day vallet, but this is not uncommon for downtown hotels and this hotel is worth the parking fees.

Downtown Portland
Portland is a great small city. The service was excellent. The city had plenty of local attractions, large and small. I'm partial to the art and museums.

Awesome Stay
This hotel is great! I am a single 30 something female who came to visit friends. The hotel was clean and my room was very spacious with two big HD TVs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Max train runs only a couple blocks away and is very easy to catch. There was plenty of night life within walking distance. I will definatley stay there again.

A weekend at Embassy Suites in Portland
The room I stayed in was more beautiful and spacious that I imagined! The hotel was decorated for Christmas in a grand, beautiful, classy way. I liked the guy playing the grand piano in the lobby in the evenings. Every single person I dealt with at the hotel was pleasant, kind and helpful. The only thing that was a little not good was that the music playing in the pool/jacuzzi area was way too loud. The location was perfect!! I'd stay here again and again and recommend it highly to fellow travelers.

Fsantastic Family Getaway
I really enjoyed the size of the room. Very spacious with plenty of room for two adults and two children. The pool was unbeleivable. In doors and the childrens side only 3 feet. Great for a worring parent. Location was really good and close to everything you would want to go too. You will definitely enjoy your stay. I am going back.
