Great to save some cash in a nice hotel

It's definitely nicer than most similarly priced hotels. The staff wasn't terribly helpful when we needed a taxi (lack of communication between staff and helpfulness when they realized that) but it was clean, new, pretty, and in a good spot. I'd recommend it.

Booked a week ahead, good enough deal, room

Staff was friendly. We got a good room with a balcony. Everything was mostly clean; I thought the down-comforter looked a little suspect, but nothing really to worry about. The balcony was awesome! I REALLY REALLY like fresh air. Air conditioning is typically always off when I am anywhere, so, the room was refreshing (literally and figuratively). If I wasnt so into FRESH non-A/C filtered air, I might give this spot an average rating (considering it was still a bit pricey - $130/night?) Better than the prices downtown though.

Great location

Went to the covention center for sock summit, a knitter's heaven. Getting on and off the MAX was a snap. The Lloyd center was across the street also. After a long day of cement it was nice to go to the park across the street. We ate at the restaurant a couple times. The blackberry jam was like butta. Compliments to the chef for picking the berries and making the jam. The bed was great after a long day. Nice sheets, down comforter and enough pillows that I didn't have to call to the "careline". Considered it a safe place to stay since I didn't hear one siren. There were police who frequented the park. No worries !!

Just OK

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. The pool looks fine and the gym is similar to other hotels of this type. Unfortunately, the rooms are pretty loud. Combined with the street traffic (I was on the 8th floor), bring something to block the noise. They charge $13 to park for the night, [...] I arrived late and the receptionist put me in a room with a sleeping gentleman. He was kind about it. The receptionist did not apologize, did not acknowledge the error, and did not comp me anything for the mishap. That seemed a bit odd.

Great Location

Good location. Right on the Max Light rail so getting downtown was quick and easy. Small but clean rooms. Not sound proof, could hear neighbors too well... Perfect for the price

Great One-Night Stay

I stayed here at the suggestion of a friend and because I got a rate of $89 when everything else in the area was much higher. This is a first-class hotel just steps away from Portland's metro service that takes you into downtown and the Pearl districts for FREE.

A Diamond in the Rough

Shopped, walked around enjoying the northwest. This hotel is a true jewel, personnel are truly talented in ensuring the customer/client is made at home. Nothing was left to chance from providing the traditional cookie to making sure all hotel attractions were pointed out, Wow! Ranks in my top three stays at a hotel in over forty years of traveling.
