Conveniently Located and Comfortable

Conveniently Located and Comfortable, the Double Tree was a pleasant stay. The room was a little small but very clean. They need to make the internet free. Parking on the street is free between 6pm and 8am if you want to save on garage fees.

Weekend wedding in Portland

Fantastic experience. From the warm cookies at check-in, to the nicely decorated room, to the friendly staff... this hotel had all the "little things" to make our stay wonderful. The low price for such a nice hotel made it that much better. Definitely will try to stay here again next time we are in Portland, it is one of the best hotel values anywhere.

For about a 10 minute walk, go to Milo's City Cafe just a few blocks away. They have an AMAZING brunch, and it will knock your socks off!

Great location, very clean, safe

Met up with a couple of girlfriends for a vacation to my favorite city in the PacNW. This place was perfect--the MAX stop right outside of the hotel is the first stop in fareless square, so we could get almost anywhere without needing to buy fare. The rooms were big and clean, and the little bar downstairs had a few Oregon crafts on draft that made for easy nightcaps. I do wish there would've been a refrigerator in our room to hold leftovers, but other than that everything was great!

Great to save some cash in a nice hotel

It's definitely nicer than most similarly priced hotels. The staff wasn't terribly helpful when we needed a taxi (lack of communication between staff and helpfulness when they realized that) but it was clean, new, pretty, and in a good spot. I'd recommend it.
