Clean, quiet, comfortable

I found this to be a good value. The room was quiet, bed was comfortable, and the staff polite and helpful. The housekeepers kept the room nice and clean without intruding. My only quibble: The wi-fi did not work so I could never check my email. Downstairs restaurant served good food and was open until midnight, which for us was very convenient.

Great hotel just outside of downtown

Stayed here when price of my usual hotel went up and couldn't justify staying there. Hotel is very comfortable and located in same vicinity as my usual hotel. Only thing I would pick on is that parking is not free, but I guess that's the price of being downtown (adjacent).

Waiting

I called days before my arrival to confirm my reservation. Asked about early check in and was told I could check in at 1pm. Arrived the day of check out at about 1:15pm and was told the room was not ready. It would be another 35-45 minutes. When I came back at 2pm the room was still not ready. Had to wait another 20 minutes to check in. The staff should have been more accommodating than that or given me a discount. Staff seemed like it was no big deal too them.. Thus I give them a rating of 2.

Perfect location for concert goers

The staff went above and beyond. The room had all the amenities you would need. I do suggest that you hang your "do not disturb" sign on your door or you may have housekeeping knocking at 8am. The hotel was just minutes away from the Moda Center. I highly recommend this location for any concert goers.

Great Location for access to Downtown and Northeast Portland

Our room was adequate, although we had to change rooms because of street noise on one side of the building. Staff was helpful, restaurant was adequate for bkfst. and shuttle was on time. Parking was a bit difficult because of a large convention and two Trailblazer games that were going on while we were at the hotel. I've been in better Intercontinental Managed Hotels around the world.
