It was a nice stay for a great price , served free breakfast the only thing is that the hotel is kind far away from everything but its ok still enjoyed my time there

Senior Couple and Retired
Nice 3 day weekend
We spent 3 days in the Portland City area and used the transportation system exclusively. You needed the hotel shuttle to the airport (no charge) to catch the MAX into downtown Portland and other transit centers. The shuttle runs every 1/2 hour and is on demand when returning from the airport, generally within 15 minutes from the phone call. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was great and included eggs, sausages, waffles and all the other standard food groups. A great way to start the day. We would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again in the future

Surprise extra fee
I booked this hotel on line. When I arrived at the hotel to check in, the lady asked for my card. She then told me there was an additional $10 charge for incidentals. I questioned this and she explained they have an incidentals charge for hooking up the phone and stuff like that, plus the hotel never knows the price we paid on line. None of this made any sense and I've never heard of an "incidentals charge" before. I didn't feel like arguing with her at the time, but will check into it further by contacting management. Other than that, my stay was nice. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Tiny Teacher
Nice weekend getaway
My husband and I stayed here for our 1st year anniversary. We thought it was a convenient location to the airport. The most positive aspect about the place was the waitress in their restaurant, Brenner's. Despite it being close to closing time, she still took our order and gave us super service. There were two things that they could improve upon. First, is the morning breakfast. It was served inside Brenner's also. The number of people did exceed the room capacity very quickly. The second downside is the location. The convenience to the airport was great, but the noise from the planes, made it less than romantic. Overall, we had a great stay. The staff was friendly. The food was good, and the location made it simple to travel to attractions in Portland. We would come back for a relaxing weekend.

Overnight stay mid-trip stopover
Room was great. Staff was responsive. Parking was atrocious!! Hotel allows too many airport long term vehicles to consume the spaces and current guests are expected to park on the grass, at the end of aisles, in the driveway lanes, in the alley by the neighboring golf course....basically anywhere that someone doesn't get blocked in. Unacceptable.....I would recommend the hotel and rooms, but not the parking situation.

we came to visit a family member and chose this hotel because we thought it was this really nice hotel we had stayed in before, but when we got there it wasnt. i was kind of worried but that changed the moment we checked in. the customer service was awesome, the room was perfect, the price was right, the breakfast was great and the maids were very nice! we came home late one night and the parking lot was full so my husband dropped me and my 5 yr old son off at the door so he could find parking and one of the employees saw him driving around and moved his car out of his spot so my husband could park. I will definetly be staying here again.

We loved our stay at Country Inn & Suites. The Inn had traditional beauty and comfort, a great restaurant, a handy snack room, reliable airport shuttle service, cleanliness and temperature comfort. Since we were there for a week, we enjoyed the couch and coffee table in the room, the refrigerator and microwave. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed strolling around the manicured grounds and greatly appreciated copies of local travel directions provided by the Inn. We would definitely stay again!

Hotel needed near Portland Airport
We have stayed at several hotels close to Portand OR airport (PDX) and found this to be the best so far. Attractive building and nicely done rooms, very good free breakfast, extremely nice staff, shuttle supplied to the airport which is very near by, and very good price. We have booked it again for our return trip.
