Home run
The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. I found the staff to be particularly inviting and friendly. They always had smiles on their faces and seemed like they genuinely like their jobs. This is pretty rare and made our experience that much more enjoyable. This is an extremely well-managed hotel.

Ordinary, but nice.....
Nothing special, but it is a good hotel. Average rooms, average amenities, VERY GOOD STAFF, average food. Lots of airplane noise, but it is located at the airport so thats to be expected. Overall, I would recommend the Clarion.

Short Weekend
Evertthing about the weekend was great. Hotel was very clean, very nice staff. The only thing that needs improvement was breakfast was not impressed.

Good value for the dollar
The staff was great at check-in. The exercise room needs some tender loving care. The treadmill is bare bones and should be upgraded. The van driver from the airport was right on time and very pleasant.

Best hotel experience in Portland airport area
Other than the first night, when it seemed from the noise that airplanes were landing on the roof, this was extremely nice place to stay. Was far nicer than the typical holel room - very generous sized room, with sitting area, small kitchenette type area, large screen TV, free wi-fi. Full breakfast provided (limited hours on weekends), beautiful view of a pond outside our window. We have tried various of the 3 star airport hotels in Portland, and found this far superior!

The Picture Man
Perfect for Portland Airport
Very accommodating staff in an unpretentious hotel. It is set back from a very busy thoroughfare and it is quiet. Easily reached from the interstate and close to PDX.

Saying Good-Bye to a loved one
I have stayed at this Clarion Hotel before. It has the right amount of personal attention I have needed on all 3 of our trips. The staff were attentive to our needs as they arose and were more than capable of providing us with suggestions for fun outings. The location of the Hotel is what drew us to try Clarion our first time flying into Portland, and with the low cost will keep us returning.

Short drive from hotel
If you are heading toward Jantzen Beach area, the drive along Marine Dr. is as fast and enjoyable as they come. Easy access to the I-5 heading North or South. For us old timers, Portland Blvd is now called Rose Way
