Top Notch
Great stay. The only flaw was the air vent blew directly onto the bed. Some may like a breeze while they sleep. We did not.

mini spring break getaway
We chose this hotel because of the deal we found online. I am thankful I requested a room with a view. That helped our tiny room feel more spacious. I wish the website showed a picture of a standard room. Loved that we could open the windows. We adored our waiter John in The Palms Court - he has been there for 34 years! He was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and provided the best service. He was one of our favorite parts of our stay. The hotel is beautiful. It is so historical. It just needs a freshening/sprucing up to make it feel newer, and not so worn out. We enjoyed the proximity. We were able to walk to most sites and

48 hours at the Benson
I will say that the location of this hotel can't be beat for the price. The staff was top notch and friendly. The continental breakfast was fantastic. The lobby was fantastic. My only sore spots were the gym, two machines cut off and one didn't work at all and the shade in our room looked like it had mold on the bottom of it from moisture. So if you don't work out and you don't look at the shade in your room, go for it!

Nice, cozy hotel, Great location
Benson Hotel is located right in the city center, close to Pioneer square and several Max stations. The room is nice, good bed and bathroom. Too bad breakfast was not included, but breakfast was really good and not as pricey as expected.

Wonderful stay
The people at the Benson could not have been more courteous or helpful. We felt comfortable, relaxed and welcome. We were quickly assisted with easy-to-follow directions. We were promptly served in the lounge. The concierge staff went out of their way to make sure we got the most out of our short stay. Two wonderful nights of sleep. The beds were cozy with plenty of pillows. The two double bed room was small, but very comfortable with plenty of drawers and closet space. The shower had hot water on demand and great water pressure. I highly recommend this grand and beautiful historic hotel. It's a central location and worthwhile. Our only (small) complaint was the breakfast buffet. While made-to-order omelets were tasty, the rest of the buffet was not up to standard. French toast was a little stale, cool and tough. Sausage not quite hot enough and bacon too salty. Fruit plentiful and ripe.
