When traveling to the City of Roses, count on our comfortable Portland hotel to provide you with an unbeatable location. Whether you need to be close to the Rose Quarter, Coliseum, Convention Center or Rose Garden Arena, our Portland hotel makes it convenient. We're just a short drive from the Portland International Airport and close to the Expo Center where the Portland International Raceway (PIR) and Delta Park can be found. We understand that guests want to do and see it all, which is why our location was chosen with convenience in mind. We offer a great location and value just five minutes north of downtown. Clean, large rooms make staying at our Portland hotel an easy choice and great for extended stays. We're near the MAX Light Rail, an easy and clean system that goes all over the city. Close to the Delta Park Light Rail Stop and Yellow Line, it's easy to explore Portland by electric train. With free parking, free Wi-Fi and a free hot breakfast, we offer our guests what many downtown hotels can't. Enjoy tax-free restaurants and tax-free shopping while in Oregon, before taking in an exciting Blazers or Timbers game. The Portland Rose Festival, Blues Festival, popular Voodoo Donuts and Powell's Bookstore are all just minutes away. Midway between downtown and the airport, our Portland hotel is easily accessible. Many of our guests are in town to visit Multnomah Falls just 30 minutes away, or to experience the eclectic Portland Saturday Market. When you're close to downtown, but not in the midst of the bustle, it's much easier to enjoy the "Keep Portland Weird" atmosphere of this unique city. Our friendly staff members are happy to provide recommendations on neighborhoods, eateries and of course the famous Portland microbreweries. When you stay at our Portland hotel, you get an unbeatable value. Reserve your well-appointed room at BEST WESTERN Inn at the Meadows, minutes from downtown!

Great weekend stay

This hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient to downtown Portland and unique places to shop and sightsee. Just a few minutes from relatives we were visiting, this hotel was very nice and made the weekend a great mini vacation.

Nice place to stay, would do it again.

Friendly, kind staff. Clean rooms. Good, safe location. Went to a show downtown; it was an easy quick trip into the city and back. Felt safe walking from my car into the hotel late in the evening. Will stay there again on my next trip to Portland. Breakfast was good....would have rather had waffles than pancakes but if that's the only thing I have to complain about, I'll having a good day!

Another away game

No microwave in room, refrigerator was a dorm size, internet was intermittent at best. But compared to others (price) in the area, a "good" deal.

Almost Great!

The hotel is in a great location whether you want to explore downtown Portland, Vancouver, Washington, the suburbs of Portland, or wherever else you want to go. It's also the perfect distance from the airport and all major freeways to get to anywhere else you want to go. In addition, the breakfast was FABULOUS (full on bacon and eggs and waffles)! I generally would have given this hotel a GREAT, however, the staff there was maybe not the most customer service oriented. Overall, if I could get this hotel for the price I did, I would go back.

Go have breakfast at Pine State Biscuits near Concordia University. You won't regret it and you'll get to experience the quaint little suburbs of Portland. It was wonderful!

Clean and Quiet

My one night stay at this Best Western was a good experience. Overall, the room was pretty clean. I felt the room as well as surrounding area were quiet. Love that the room had both refrigerator and a microwave. Location was fairly close to downtown Portland without having all the noise and traffice of the main downtown area. Only negatives were an odd smell in the hallways (not in the room fortunately). Wi-Fi, while available free in-room, is very unreliable and many times as slow as old dial-up internet connects.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

Rooms have both refrigerator and microwave in the room. Dining out gets expensive so having a microwave really helps save $$.

An unremarkable 3-star hotel

First the good news: the room was very clean and nicely laid out; I was very comfortable there. The two negatives: the staff were noticeably disengaged. Even though I walked past the front desk numerous times, only one guy actually looked up and said hello. I tried waving/nodding a few times but the staff were glued to their computer screens most of the time and didn't acknowledge me at all. Secondly, the walls are paper thin. I tried watching a movie one evening at moderate volume (I have very good hearing), and got a complaint from the room next door. I decided to watch a movie on my computer with my earbuds instead.
