Westin Columbus - good value

Would recommend the hotel at the rate that I paid. There was a private party occupying the restaurant, so they set up dinner in the bar. This was well done. Business Center had a computer that I would have liked to use to print a flight boarding pass, but it was connected to a restricted printer that required some sort of login -- unnecessary and bothersome in my view -- didn't end up getting it done.

The historic hotel was beautiful!

I had planned a special get-away weekend for my husband and I so we were really looking forward to it. When we arrived the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but nice. The refrigerator in the room did not work and we were not able to rent any movies the entire weekend for some reason. That was disappointing. The restaurant was very nice and the staff was also very friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good! The bar was very attractive and the staff again, was very nice and personable. The only thing that we did not like about the bar was that the bar did not have a foot rail around it but you still sat on bar stools and that was not comfortable for more that a few minutes. Overall we enjoyed our weekend away and our stay at the Westin in Columbus.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

The Brownstone restaurant is just down the street and the hotel also provided us with a coupon for there as well as directions.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

The convention center is just a short drive up the street and could possibly walk on a nice day.
