This was a perfect location - close to Broadway plays - able to take the subway or bus directly to Times Square. The staff was very helpful. Room was comfortable - a nice home away from home.

Great location
Located in a safe, tourist-filled area. Small rooms are to be expected in NYC and this is no exception. Furnishings are a little old, but this hotel is a great value for the traveler who is out sightseeing most of the day anyways.

what happened
i've stayed here many times in the past. never again. shower curtain too short-"flooding" bathroom floor. the overall appearance is one of sloppiness, chipped paint, stains on wallpaper, a loose access panel inthe bathroom, etc. way overpriced for this experience. and what's your problem-a nickname is a nickname is a nickname?

Location great....but service in Hotel spoiled our trip a lite
Had an excellent start to our trip got upgraded on BA flight which was fantastic thankyou BA.... Our excitement was spoiled when we saw our Hotel room ,it was tiny we could hardly move in bathroom so disappointed ,also we where kept awake every night by banging of pipes from heating.....not 1 person in that Hotel asked us if everything was ok worst Hotel I've ever stayed in......I went to reception to complain and overheard another guest complaining they where so rude to her that I didn't bother as I didn't want to waste my Husbands 50th Birthday we still enjoyed our trip but the Hotel definately spoiled some of it ....We saved a long time for that trip and if you look on the website I promise you won't see our room 1025 ....Gutted to say the least .

Location was great however room and bed was small even for one person left alone two. Bathroom was old and also very small, they could not fit the toilet paper on the dispenser from lack of space...TV set did not work when we arrived, was fixed and hrs later stopped working again....

Excellent location
Stayed four nights, excellent location close to Times Square and Central Park but the room was very hot, despite the heater not being on!
