Great Location

everything was fine, except my room doesn't have a view to the city, all that i could see from my window was a gray and dirty wall, for being in new york, i didn't enjoy the view of the skyline.

overbooked

The staff members were very friendly and accomodating. I tried to check in early, but they didn't have a room. I then tried to check in later, after the proper check in time of 3pm and they said they were booked. They put me up in a very nice hotel across the street, so I can't complain.

Good Enough

One needs to realize that this is Manhattan and unless you pay a lot of money you are just NOT going to get a great room. This was a perfectly adequate small room. My biggest complaint is that Orbitz booked for my 16-year-old nephew and me, a room with a double bed. It cost $20 a night to upgrade to two twin beds. That seems ridiculous to me. Also, the bathroom door didn't lock. There was nowhere to put your clothes except on the floor or on the toilet seat. On the upside we could walk to the theater. And honestly I would definitely stay there again. Just don't expect more than a place to sleep.

Nice location but bad customer service

I was there on a business trip and hence the review might be biased for business travelers Pros - 1. I liked the location of the hotel....just 4 blocks away was Times Square and 2 blocks away was Central Park. 2. Starbucks and many eating joints were nearby 3. Proximity to office areas and especially the place where I was supposed to be was excellent - within 10 USD drive from Columbus circle) Cons - Customer service was pathetic 1. I reached to find that my room is not ready. I had reached after about 36 hours of flight from India - was not offered to be seated. in fact when I asked for water - I was told "No" 2. I felt unwell on the departure day and requested to extend my stay for just 1 hour (when I had stayed there for 5 days) - was refused

Small but decent for location

Very satisfied with location of hotel to subway and Time Square. However was very surprised by the small size of the room, having to pay additional for parking and found a couple of pieces of hair in my bed when turned the covered down.

hotel review

The room was a one bedroom suite. It was actually perfect for a 4 day trip. Fridge and microwave was very handy to have. Our entire trip was only @ 500.00 per person and that made the hotel a great bargain. I don't know if I would have been as OK with the room had we paid more than that however. They charged quite a bit for internet service which I am not used to but other than that it was a good location and very nice people working there. It was the NY Marathon so the hotel was packed and yet they managed to stay "friendly".

great location for people who are going to take in Broadway shows. We spent most of our time downtown so that made it more difficult but, GREAT location for midtown.
