The rooms are not separately controlled with the heat/air conditioner. Our room was unbearably hot. We almost had to sleep with the door open to the hall.

great location
great location minutes from time square, but away from the noise close to central park, and tour buses close to great restaurants liked that most of the guests were european loved the wellington only thing that would make it 100% perfect would be if they had a small coffee maker in the room

Great hotel for tourists!
Wanted to be in the heart of NYC and the Wellington is walking distance from lots of major destinations...central park, rockefeller plaza, broadway, museums, time square, 5th avenue, etc. Great staff and comfortable rooms too!

Great Location!
We traveled to New York State for a wedding, coming into New York Sunday, staying at the Wellington Sunday thru Thursday, then coming back into town and staying again on Sunday before flying out Monday am. The bell staff suggested and arranged for some of our luggage to stay at the hotel while we traveled north for the wedding, arranged for all of our transportation (nice!)and offered helpful site-seeing suggestions. The room was always spotless and dining was nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends, it made our visit most enjoyable.

The subway entrance is just around the corner from the hotel, easy to use (we were first timers in NYC). Makes traveling around the city fast and inexpensive.

Fantastic family getaway. More please.
I hade a great time. there was so much to see and do .And the Wellington was the only place to be. Everything was in walking distance. And the staff was very frindly and helpful with directions.We got on the big Taxi and went to LadyL. and Ground zero. Im in love with the Wellington Hotel and New York.To the W.H staff you made my stay very comfortable.Thank you for all the extras.Keep doing what your doing you take the cake and the frosting.M.A.B.

Go out every day,and stay out half the night. You never no what great experince is just around the corner.My daughter and i went to a sample sale that i didn't even know about. I LOVE New York.

Fantastic hotel!
The hotel was great! When we arrived, the bedlight wasn't working, so we called the reception, and they came within 5 minutes! Everything looked great, they were cleaning the room every day. As for the location, it coudn't get any better. 10 minutes to times square, 5 minutes to central park, 5 minutes to 5th avenue! We really enjoyed our stay here!

we took the OnBoard City Tour - which really help us get our bearings and get use to using the subway. It was the fastest way to get anywhere.

Perfect family venu + great location!
I really loved this hotel! Great location & economically priced for families. Very close to Time Square, the subway & bus. We had 4 in a room, and the unbelievable part is that this room had two full baths and there was a partition wall between the two comfy beds for added privacy. That was a real plus! And a large flat screen TV. This was my 6th visit to NY. I would highly recommend this hotel.
